There's this one common thing with people who are trying to pursue me romantically; when I start getting comfortable and go, "Okay, so I like [insert anything from fruits to personal TMI], and it's so [giving context to why I like it or elaborate on it]" and communicate and try to express myself they clearly don't like or get the intent of why I'm doing that so they just take exactly one thing I said, which is "I like [something]." and ignore the others, and turn the subject into a mockery or belittling the thing and only care about "I like [thing]." So Strange. It happened so many times that it just feels absurdly hilarious and off-putting in the most common way ever. All that I can understand from this situation is that clearly you aren't interested in me as a person.

And it only happens with people who specifically imply and declare that they are romantically interested in me... Why are you indifferent and downright distasteful when it's me being myself that made you come and try your luck with me? I feel like people aren't the brightest in these ways...
