Melodic words interrupt the pilgrimage once more, a solid attempt to ignore it goes in vain as the presence seems intent on disrupting the new monarch’s silence. Until something of interest drops from the lips of the person behind her; piquing interest in seconds. In an instant boots swivel and Uma’s frame is twisting to face the other, eyes alight to match the suddenly interested expression. “I’m sorry – you want to run that by me again?”

Riven carefully placed his assortment of items for his evening outside, he found himself needing to recharge a lot more lately. Well…he didn’t really need to, more he wanted to. He missed practicing while he was on the isle, and ever since the barrier went down he made sure never to miss the opportunity. He sat patently and watched the sun slowly go down, “Dude, you do realize that the whole point of me being all the way out here is to achieve ‘no thoughts - head empty’.” He scoffed playfully, and rolled his eyes.

-- & A shrug of shoulders is the original response, lithe form moving to all but flop beside the other. "And do you realize I do whatever I want?" Queen or not, that isn't something about Uma that had changed under the Monarch. "Besides -- " Hand waves in gesture around them, "I'll be quiet. Maybe I need the same thing."

Wyatt shrugged a little at the other. Whilst the Isle was full of villains, their presence was always known to the other inhabitants of the isle. “I suppose not..” he stated. He listened to her and scoughed a little. “Sorry, but there was no way I was leaving home for this happy place as it was. It made me sick” he admitted. “But now you’ve brought a little bit of home here, I figured I would give it a go… see how things looked..” he admitted to the other. The place had been to joyful for Wyatt to even contemplate coming to until recently. 

-- & Definitely the son of a Sanderson, even if she didn't know it before Uma definitely knows it each time she interacts with Wyatt. A constant reminder presents itself at least once per conversation, always. "The Isle was home for years, I get it. But Auradon has so much potential and now that Harry and I reign it'll only improve." Truthfully she had a lot of plans, but it was more a matter of finding appropriate ways to engage them without sacrificing her own morals.

     “ Yes, I do. “ Amara told her bluntly without hesitation. Amara always stated what she thought. There was no lie when it came to stating her opinions. Hidden truths but never a lie. Choosing her words carefully but she was always a girl of her words. A rare trait to have in the isle yet deadly. Eyes looked up at uma as she motioned for her to sit in front of her. “ And you are my friend too. I know you don’t use that word lightly… But you have other advisors— You don’t really need me to advise you in anything, Uma . ” 

-- & Well, that certainly wasn't the response that Uma had been hoping for. Sure there was a possibility that Amara would turn her down but she hadn't been expecting the turn down to be so abrupt -- so sharp. "Alright." Uma offers curtly, because really what else is she supposed to say? Is there a small part of her that feels a little sad that someone she trusts so wholly isn't interested? Definitely, but Amara is also the kind of person to stick to their mind once it's made up. "I just -- I respect your advice, your opinions and I'd like to have someone like you on my council that's all it was but I respect your choice if that's your final decision."

gil paused in his moves behind uma as she came to a stop, his words catching up to him at her question. he barely remembers himself what he was saying – he was rambling so much about everything and nothing at all, hoping it might change the queen’s mood  and that she will feel brighter sooner rather than later. “oh, i have a date tomorrow night,” gil repeated, blinking at uma as his grin grew, “it’s my first date ever, i hope it will be fun ! it’s with one of mother gothel kids, the son with the red hair ! i thought i told you that i’ll have someone else guarding you and harry tomorrow.” 

-- & It's exactly what she thought he said and yet there's still an incredulous expression painting her features, not because Gil was unattractive but the idea of him going on a date with anyone OUTSIDE of the crew was ------ unsettling. "Gothel." She repeats the name with a scoff, "As in the crazy bitch that locked someone up in a tower to steal their Youth." Yeah, sounded like a real catch. Slow sigh leaves before she's got her features scrunched up roughly, "Fine. Don't be surprised if the guy's super into himself though -- like I'm talking you dad kinda into himself." And okay maybe she was worried, maybe there was a part of her that felt jealous too.
