When I was feeling stupid for being a hopeless romantic, you told me that love is fearless.
When I was depressed, anorectic, terrified of what the future holds and completely suicidal, your music was my therapy.
When my dad left for good and I lost myself, you were the only one who told me what I was ans wasn’t.
When I was feeling worthless, broken and abandoned, you gave me hope that eventually I’d be clean.
Even though I wasn’t on even one 1989 show the clean speech saved my life.
Taylor I think I’m a lot like you, thank you for telling me it’s going to be okay, I wasn’t sure anymore.
When I was bathing in my brokenness and ‘wasn’t enough’, I read that you once had been too.
And once again you understood me like no one else could.
Because of you I took my time, disappeared from evrywhere and found myself.
When I needed to let go of the ones that hurt me and all the pain, you told me my tears would dry, and eventually they did.
