Thomson 757 EMERGENCY LANDING at Manchester Airport | Stuck Flaps | TOM6606

G-OOBF From Bristol to Las Palmas developed a serious problem with it’s flaps shortly after departure. The 757’s leading edge flaps and slats were stuck in the takeoff position. After completing a few holds over BRS the pilots made the decision to divert up to Manchester and land on 23L at a staggering 160knots. G-MDBD Airbus A330-243, TCX2718 From MAN to Las Vegas developed a problem over the Irish sea, apparently to do with fuel getting into the air conditioning system making the air very dangerous to breathe. Spotting at Liverpool Airport | 2nd April 2017

A roasting day at LPL, temperatures hanging around 20 Celsius! Movements wise there was a fair amount of Easyjet’s and Ryanair’s departing on the new summer schedule.
