I think all Portistas realize how lucky we are to have someone like Helton. He’s the definition of a Portista. He’s not just our goalie, and our captain, he’s one of us. He spends the entire game standing by the bench with his hands up, anxiety on his face, screaming advice to our players. He’s always there during any confrontation grabbing all our players and taking them aside. He’s always happy even though he’s been benched so often lately. He’s welcomed Iker with open arms, they’re more than teammates, they’re friends. Helton is a player that other teams don’t have the opportunity to have. We have someone special. A true fan of our club. Someone who will always put the club before himself and for that we will always love him. Thank you Helton!
