“clearly i was enjoying a frozen delight by myself. if you used your eyes, that would have been evident,” cheryl replied, fraudulently perky. as the newest serpent, she wanted to make sure everyone knew she was not one to be intimidated by other members. she could hold her own quite well. giving him a dirty look as he stuck his fingers into her shake, her mouth turned to a straight line. “i suppose i won’t slap you silly for ruining my shake since you ordered me a new one.” placing her folded arms on the table between them, she leaned towards him a bit. “you’re lucky i’m in a good mood and let you cover me.” 

“Well, that’s more like it. It’s not like they put on any real good fights anyway. They have been more scare tactics. But whatever it’ll be a good practice and I always do love watching them drop.” Sweet pea commented climbing into the truck and sitting back. 

Rainer cranked the truck up before putting it in drive to head to the drive in. “They better not hit my face. I have to keep it in tact for the ladies.” He chuckled. “We got a few good looking ladies around.” He said with a smirk as they pulled into the drive in, hopping out the truck Rain smirk grew. “Come on out pussies.” He spoke spreading his arms. “I’m waiting.” He taunted. 

plucking the candy cherry off the top of her strawberry milkshake, cheryl dropped it in her mouth, pulling it off the stem. “i see you don’t require an invitation,” she commented to the person who sat themselves down at her booth. “as long you don’t mouth breathe on my frozen dessert, i suppose you can stay.” 

Annabelle rolled her eyes “Rainer you’re lucky you’re a Serpent or i would kick your teeth in for that comment” She dropped her feet on the floor and sat up straight waving the boy over “Come on join. I rather have company than eat alone even if the company’s you.” She said, half-joking “besides I can’t pass up free food” 

Rainer smirked. “You love me and you know it.” He chuckled. “And that’s okay, you’re good looking and so am I.” He said motioning a waiter over. “What you want princess?” He asked as he sat in front of her. “Everybody would rather have me than be alone, besides I have to look after my kind Anna. If you were to get hurt I would have to kill someone.” He said smiling softly. 

“Your demand for me to accept you being a hot chick really has me worried about you, and I still think you’d look like a dog with a wig if you were.” He said with a smirk. Sweet pea shook his head. “Yeah that’ll show, em’. Tell me, would you use a glove to smack him like they did in back in the day? Or just go straight skinned bitch slap?” Sweets pulled his leather skin over his shoulders feeling comfortable with the weight. “Yeah, lets go. Lets see how many of them will actually step up.” 

“I wouldn’t worry to much, it’s like I could afford it even if I wanted a gender swap.” Rain shrugged popping the collar to his jacket. “Man I go full on skin to skin contact. I’m sure them dicks wouldn’t know what hit them until my fist comes up after and lands itself in their Jaw.” He chuckled heading out to the truck. “I’m sure we’ll get a few contenders.” He smirked. 

Annabelle was stretched out in a booth of Pop’s. “It’s a matter of dignity.” She said as she popped a fry into her mouth “What does it say about me if I give in?” She asked “I’ll tell ya, it says I’m a pushover bitch”

Rainer chuckled listening to her as he leaned against the table. “I don’t think you’re a pushover babe, i just want to join you.” He said as a smirk played on his lips. “Dinner is on me.” He spoke gazing at her. “Then I’ll walk your cute ass home.” He smirked. 

“I wouldn’t waste my time on Blondie. It wouldn’t even be a fair fight for her. You know I don’t fight girls who can’t defend themselves, even if they deserve it,” Toni explained. “She’ll get hers eventually. For now, we just avoid her and hope Jones doesn’t fall for her crap again,” she added, shaking her head. There was an obvious sense of doubt in her tone. “That is the last image I need in my head, Rain, but I hope you’re not thinking he’s jumping from me to you. No offense, but he’s already clumsy enough. He doesn’t need you there too.”

Rain looked at her for a second. “I have to admit she’s got some looks. Maybe I should invite to the Wyrm. I’ll like to see the look on Jones face when I get his good girl to go bad.” He smirked cracking his knuckles as he leaned against the wall. “I could play this game show her what it’s like to be with a real man, you know?” He shrugged. “It might just be my epic bro crush of the century. I know he wouldn’t and I wouldn’t want him to.” He smiled softly. 

“Good. You’d make an ugly fucking girl.” Sweet pea laughed. His brow rose and a smirk made it to Sweets’ face as he thought about a fight. His dark hues looked at his fist, lately his knuckles had been dry of some blood. “A fight, huh? As long as they throw the first punch I don’t see why stirring up a few Ghoulies would be a problem. Have to remind them that they can’t fuck around with us.”

“Excuse you.” Rainer said playfully rolling at his eyes before giving Sweet Pea an array of hand motions. “I’ld be the hottest chick on earth, you would touch me and get burned.” He chuckled. “Yes a fight. I just want to slap one of them douches hard.” He said. “Grab your stuff lets go, We’re taking my truck.” He spoke. 

Sweet pea rolled his eyes. “What you really think that’s the only reason she’s allowed here? If you had tits I’d be more worried on how to get that checked out than wanting to ever touch them.” He said with a chuckle. Sweets looked at the screen and sat up on the couch. “Uh… old Game of Thrones. Got some special marathon of it I guess. I haven’t really been watching. It was watching people swing around swords or talk shows.”

Rainer shook his head. “I wouldn’t worry I rather be a man.” He said. “You know a good brawl sounds better than this stuff and I heard there are Ghoulies down at the old drive in.” He said with a smirk. 

“I am not some Serpent for Hire,” Toni replied shaking her head. “Pool of mud? God, Rainer, get your head out of the gutter and don’t make me smack that sexist thought out of your head. The last thing I’m gonna do is pick a fight with Jone’s precious princess. Though I appreciate your faith in me,” she replied. “Neither of the boys are gonna help you if they find out you’re thinking if me rolling in the dirt. Just saying.”

Rainer looked at her. “You’re more like my sister Ton’s, everyone knows I’m not a fan guy or whatever over Jones so you fighting his girl in anyway shape or form would be quite amusing. I’m pretty damn certain that she’s asking for it.” He smirked. “Besides I’m almost pretty certain I asked Sweetie Pea if he preferred me with tits.” He chuckled. “Man I didn’t think he would get that blessed with his smoking hot bod. I’m pretty sure I’m jealous.” He said. 

 “It’s more I missed watching you miss the first step into the Wyrm and totally eating, but if it makes you feel better than by all means,” Toni shrugged with a smile. “But let’s not forget, I am the last person you wanna call weak.”

“And this is exactly why you’re my go to gal. If a chick is beating on me I could sick you on her.” He chuckled. “I really would love to see you and Jones’ princess fight in a pool of mud. Nothing like chicks rolling around covered in mud, besides I’ll be betting on you.” He said. “Dude I still haven’t figured how to start my damn bike, I swear I’ll have to call Sweetie Pea or Fangs to come put training wheels on it.” He said pouting his lips. 

Sweets rolled his eyes. “The fact that you had to find it under the pot only proves to show I didn’t give it to you.” He stated. “Remind me I have to steal that back from you, can’t have you around here all the time, you are just a little too lame.” He said finally smirking a bit, his dark hues catching his friend. “Typical. Are all my friends going to bum my cigarettes for life? I swear you and Fangs practically eat them off me.” He said pulling one out for the boy. “Here.” 

Rainer looked at him. “Are you saying I have to have tits like Toni to stay around now? If I did I might have let you play with them.” He said glancing around Sweet Pea with an amused smile plastered on his face. “So what are we watching?” He asked taking a seat on the couch throwing his legs up on the coffee table taking the cig from him, before placing it between his lips. 

“Who the hell said I missed you? I honestly have tried everything I could to lock you out since you left. I just can’t figure out how the fuck you keep getting back in.” He said slumped over the couch watching an old show he was only half paying attention to. At least tell me you brought me back a pack of ciggs?”

“You of all people should know better Sweetie Pea.” He smirked again producing the spare key from his back pocket. “Rule number one never give me a spare key if you intended to keep me locked out. Found this one under the flower pot” He spoke as another chuckle left his lips. “Hell yeah I did, what kind of best mate would I be if I didn’t.” He said tossing the pack at the boy. “Now give me one.”
