          the semester had started off rough, a bout of bronchitis nearly knocking the young blonde on her ass as it kept her out of class for two weeks. rhiannon had been afraid it was time she wouldn’t be able to make up, assignments she simply wouldn’t be able to finish. luckily, sunny’s diner made for the perfect caffeine laden hangout. just the right amount of coffee and noise to keep her up as she slaved away. a break, however, was well deserved after nearly nine hours and six cups of coffee in the same booth. it had her approaching the counter, arms folded against it as she leaned her wait on it, not paying much attention to the person who resided in the seat beside her. “apple or peach?” she spoke mostly to herself, her eyes set on the pies in the display to her left.
