Casey nods, looking down at the ground when she looks away from him and squeezing her hand lightly. “I know,” he whispers and then turns his head pressing a soft kiss on the back of her hand. “I love you too, Kat.”

"Okay." She nods, smiling softly as he kissed her hand. "I wanted you to know that now..because I've got a lot of morphine going on so I probably won't remember how embarrassing this is tomorrow."

Looking at Kat, Casey gives her a small smile and extends his hand to take hers. “I worry because I care about you.” He replies quietly.

"Case?" Kat said, looking at him, entangling their fingers together. "I love you." She said, before looking down at the ground and then her hospital bed. "You know that, right?"

"Okay, I’m just gonna stay right here then. I won’t go anywhere."

Kat looked over at Casey, her eyes watering up and she bit onto her bottom lip, reaching out to him with her hand. "I'm sorry you have to worry about me." She whispered.

"Are you seriously alright though? Do you need anything?"

"No. Just you."

"What did you do, Kat? I leave for Japan for a month and I come back and find you in the hospital—I still don’t understand how I could ever play the motherly role in a relationship, yet—why didn’t they call your parents? Why me?”

"Just a little coke, it wasn't a big deal. Until it was." She sighed, sitting up in the hospital bed. "My parents aren't around. Bre, stop worrying, I'm fine."

"Shut up, Kat, Jesus Christ. This is exactly what I was afriad of." He looks down at her laying in the bed and clenches his fists at his sides, letting out a deep sigh. "You’re just lucky I’m this happy you’re okay or I’d fucking kill you right now."

"Thanks for loving me so much that you'd want to kill me." She smiled softly.

"Oh, please." Kat rolled her eyes. "I just want to go out. Just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you're boring. Get up! We're going out!"

My reaction exactly. Like seriously couldn’t they have waited to get to a dorm before things escalated to clothes coming off? Geez, freshmen can be so disgusting sometimes.
