police dogs have permanently injured & have killed people, primarily against people who pose no legitimate threat to others.

there is a million fucking studies about the harm of police dogs. since you fuckheads don't actually give a shit about googling, i'll link you to a site that provides 29 different studies regarding police dogs.

yes, a dog cannot control who owns it, who trains it, etc. that part i agree with. but that does not change the fact that these dogs are used as tools for the police to commit harm upon others. police dogs are, in fact, tools used to commit hate crimes. yall are actively defending the role of a police dog in this post, and in turn actively defending the job of the police.

yes, police dogs can have other roles than attacking people, however these dogs also should not be working for the police. we do not need police dogs, just like we do not need the police. the police are used as tools of the state in order to protect private property and the people in power, not the community. the police enact violent hate crimes against marginalized communities and use police dogs as one of the tools to do that. there are dogs who perform the tasks that police dogs do that are actually good, like search and rescue dogs, that are not associated with the police (volunteer groups, primarily.)

don't come to me with that "umm well YOUR police [dog] is evil but MY police [dog] isn't" bullshit because it really is just a rebranded version of "well your country has a racism problem but mine doesn't." when we say acab, we fucking mean it. the role of a cop, of the police, is an evil one and every fucking cop is a bastard.

so, like the post yall are vaguing, i will say it again. you cannot control your theriotype, but if you are actively proud of having a canine theriotype with the active role as a police dog, you are a bigot. yall clearly do not care about BIPOC in the community and in general.
