If anybody still gives a shit about that candlelight nocturnes guild, its dead now. The new founders turned out to be just as awful as the old leader, constantly playing favorites while ignoring the rest of the group, lying about their plans, and then finally ghosted everybody halfway through the last event some months back and havent been seen since.

Hi there! I’m Fawn, and I’m one of the founders of old CN, now ML. The guild is definitely not dead, we are just having a small hiatus of -- a month now? We have been actively talking about these problems on discord, and why it is taking a bit to update the roleplay threads. I think mental health, family, and stability are more important than hurrying up the roleplay that we are all partaking in. Being a good DM also means understanding the needs of your players and how much they can put in, and knowing when to take a break when part of them are not in a good spot. The founders are all still here, one of them had to take a break due to a very personal and understandably painful matter too. The plans did not change, we just unfortunately had some bumps in the road. The majority of the guild seem pretty understanding of what is happening, and we are actually quite surprised someone decided to come here instead of talking about it in our discord, or DMing one of the founders, since we have a pretty open dialogue with everybody. Everytime a member has asked when we would pick up the roleplays again, we have been promptly answering, which definately means there is no ghosting happening whatsoever, especially since I myself am online almost everyday. There are hardly “favorites” in the guild, as we like everyone for different reasons, however there are members who communicate more frequently in the chats - and even then those members talk and appreciate even the quieter of the players in the guild. One of the first rules in our guild is that, we can talk about things and change what is needed - if the problem is communicated.
