Can you never just stop, for once, to listen without interrupting??? You share your opinions, so why can't I share mine??

Is it because I speak slowly??? I pause for two seconds to gather my thoughts and you just ramble on: the rest of the conversation consisting of me listening, and you talking.

Don't get me wrong, I love it when you're free and you express yourself, but I want to have that chance too...

The chance to be ungaurded and expressive. Can't you give me that?

To be sincere, life can be so discouraging and unfair, and people don't help matters, 'cause we're all selfish, always looking out for only ourselves, never wanting to hear out someone else's problems, never wanting to go out of our way to help someone else. That's exactly why we can't trust eachother, but you know who the most trustworthy being in this world is? Obviously it's our Heavenly Father, the One who wants the best for us, who is always looking after us, and who will do EVERYTHING in His power to make sure we're okay, and come out of every situation victorious. I mean, He literally sent His son to earth to die for us. So what sensible reason do we have not to obey Him, not to give our lives wholly to Him, not to love when that's all He asks of us?

PROTECTOR.

If you haven't heard,

I'm telling you now.

Of the one who gives without taking,

Who loves without failing.

You've been missing out,

On this GREAT LOVE.

It fills you up to the brim,

Till there's no space.

No space for,

Anxiety,

For Sorrow,

For Heartbreak,

Or even for Envy.

Instead,

You feel JOY,

PEACE,

LOVE,

LIFE,

STRENGTH,

HOPE.

These are all the things He gives FREELY,

To those who wish to join Him in ETERNITY.

I don't want to lose myself,

I don't want to forget my roots,

Those things that make me...

Me.

I keep on trying so hard,

To be strong,

To be intentional,

To hold on.

It's been a while,

Since I felt it.

That very much,

Needed connection.

I remember,

Feeling it ever so often.

That was a long time ago.

Now...

Looking back,

I wonder,

What went wrong?

He can't answer that,

And neither can I.

But I know who can.

I still don't understand why,

I probably never will.

But that doesn't matter.

Because,

I know,

I believe,

I am absolutely sure.

That...

I thought I had found,

Discovered something,

Meant to last.

Whatever it was,

It's now past.

No regrets!

For what I thought I had,

Though fleeting,

Was freeing.

I'm not sure how the rest goes.

But what I do know?

After five,

Maybe I can finally look,

You in the eye.

I don't know what time it is for you right now, but for me, it's the beginning of a new day.

You know what that means? I've been given another chance by God to spread His love, His joy, and His peace.

I've been given another chance to live for His Glory, and to be a witness to His power.

I thank you God for this new day, and I promise to do my best to live by your will today.

I am a Joy-giver.

I am a Peace-maker.

I am a Love-shower.

Through me, people will feel the love of God, and thank God that He put me in their lives.

Neither do I know if I am meant to,

But I'm at least doing something...

That counts for something,
