inspiration struck me and is why im making this whole thing.. i think murderface is aroace and queer at heart. strictly masc on the surface but would do drag if you got rid of some of the internalized queerphobia/hatred. fan of divine/can recite parts of pink flamingoes but wont admit it. if he looks internally at his gender its a lovecraftian void he is unwilling to touch

skwisgaar is aromantic transfemme and pronoun fluid (and pansexual obviously). doesnt have any attachment to english pronouns. feels like an ethereal biblical angel gender situation. wont fully admit fem feelings due to maternal loathing and internalized misogyny

toki loves labels and adds/changes new ones every time he learns of one. contradictory or not. probably umbrella genderfluid ace but eventually discovers neopronouns and mogai/microlabels and wears 45 different pride flag pins. others find it 'annoying' but not really, everyone is happy to see him happy. did fall for the internet bait of bad faith labels like attack helicopter. goes to every pride event he possibly can and wears head to toe rainbow

charles is cishet gay but too busy to consider his life outside of work. first and last time touching a man was maybe his business school college roommate over a bottle of shitty red wine and a kurt russel movie. imagine him staring longingly out a window at the bear pride parade float.

dermott ; take this to your grave - the raw pop punk vibes, teenage angst, van life, (repressed bisexuality probably), all of it. though dermott didn't have any breakup or relationship plots and thats deffo the main theme of the album, its fine. theme song ; saturday

monarch ; infinity on high - hard to explain but this album feels like it has borderline personality disorder. theme song ; fame < infamy

dr. girlfriend/dr mrs monarch ; american beauty/american psycho - the lyrical themes of 'the lengths i go to love you'.. mm so good. i didn't want it to feel reductive of just considering her the beautiful one but the album is more layered and deep and thematically appropriate for her than expected ! theme song ; favorite record AND the kids aren't alright
