Fated Destiny

For those of you aren't aware, hi my name is Shy! I'm a Cookie Run artist and this blog is all about the au I have been working on since 2023 called "Fated Destiny." This entire au is a self indulgence retelling of the main Cookie Run Kingdom story if it had my ocs, headcanons ect, because I find complete joy in that! While some things in canon CRK are in the au, not everything. Relationships are different, ships are in there, and a lot of characters have different personalities than canon!

The au centers around Gingerbrave, after leaving home soon discovers he is destined to stop a dangerous foe and has to learn how to use his awakening powers to protect everyone he loves. He goes through heartache, self hatred which will soon turn to self love and discovery. Though that will take a while, he needs hardships of course.

Cookie Run has been my hyperfixation since 2021 and I have gained many headcanons over the years as well as ships including oc x canon!

I am currently have the ongoing fic on my Ao3, you can find it by my use shysgalaxy! As of right now(March 20th 2026) there are only two chapters, I am a slow writer as I want to make my chapters as best as possible before releasing. So I made this blog to make art and fun facts about the au, as well as mini-stories that won't be told in the fic itself!

So I truly hope all of you will enjoy my story!

As much as I wish I can get away with not designing this guy, he is a major character for the story, I am so excited to fully introduce him as his role! Especially since this character will be a major antagonist/villain to my babies

Gingerbrave- His mother's baking

Wizard- Anything sweet, savory, or cold

Strawberry- seared fish with either carrots or broccoli

Rich Cheese- Kishk with pita bread

Custard III- When at home he eats dinosaur nuggets, but out on the road he loves to eat cashews even though it's a snack

Brownie Bite(created by @crystalunlimited )-Any type of spicy food

Oh boy do I! I listen to lots of music and music is what helps me think of ideas for upcoming or future chapters! So here is my list with links provided!

So the headcanons I do have aren't much, but here are the headcanons that are canon to my au! Most of these I gained over the years after meeting my best friend(Hehe I stole your headcanons >:3)

Gingerbrave:

•Gingerbrave is just a nickname for him, his true name is something entirely different

•He is the youngest son of Dark Cacao and did grow up in the Citadel

•Had a close relationship to his brother, Dark Choco, until the strawberry jam sword was found by him

•He is ADHD and autistic, with a mild form of anxiety and dyslexic(he's just like me fr)

•Has a connection to the Avatar of Destiny

•Gifted at acrobatics

•He can do magic, but doesn't like to use it(mainly because he doesn't know how)

Wizard:

•Wizard, like woth Gingerbrave, is a nickname. His real name is Gelato

•His father is Affogato, but his other parent will be revealed in a later chapter of Fated Destiny so no spoilers! >:3

•He can only see out of his left eye

•He wears a monocle(will appear in later chapters)

•He isn't physically strong and isn't that durable either, so after a battle if he had gotten hit he uses healing magic on himself

•Is very powerful when it comes to magic, both his parents are skilled in the craft one way or another. He is perfectly capable of using magic without it but due to how powerful it is he uses his staff to better control it

•His hair is very similar to Affagato's

Strawberry:

•Her biological parents are unknown, but her adoptive father is Purple Yam

•She grew up in the Dark Cacao Kingdom like Wizard and Gingerbrave, but she left to go explore for a bit with her dad

•Her love of video games stems from a fighting game she had growing up

•Out of her friend group she is one of the strongest physically

•Out of the starter trio, she is the most knowledgeable on technology

•She always either has her hair in a short style, or keeps it up in buns or a ponytail due to hating the way hair feels on her neck

This is a Progress update for Chapter 3 for Fated Destiny!

As of right now is close to 2,500 words, which is a good thing as my minimum words I try to reach for is about 3,000. It isn't a lot but I consider it a lot for my fics, especially since it takes a while for me to figure out what to write next before writers block hits. I've had some friends of mine read the wips and so far they are saying its good so far! As of right now I'm trying to rewatch the beginning parts of the canon story of Crispia to see what parts will stay similar to canon in the chapter and which one's aren't.

I am also planning ahead for the fic and future arcs as more news of May's update comes out, though that will not be for a while. As much as I did like Episode 15 of Beast-Yeast I do know there are a lot of flaws. Things in that episode whenever I do put it to Fated Destiny will be very different. A lot of things in my fic are different from canon.
