It’s time to start acting like adults. For fucks sake, I’m going to be twenty years old in less than a month, and I’m more than ready to act like it. Shit happens, then it ends. Mistakes were made, people were petty, but it’s over now and I’m ready for this to become a place of fun for myself again. Not for petty drama. In the end, I’m not even upset anymore, just tired.

A look of discontent soon falls to the womans visage, “Really? That ain’t very nice . .” Yeah, she definitely felt bad now, “Well, I don’t drink much myself so you don’t have to worry about me skirting out on any work! And, ya know, I’m fairly much always around so if you need help . . Ya got me!” The only times she wasn’t free was when she was off training or actually working some sort of job down at the Sindrian docks.

So, it was as she had expected. Though ‘right hand,’ that was QUITE the title . . Man, just her luck that the first person she’d run into here would be a bigwig. Eyes lolling off to the side for a moment, she inhales before allowing her form to slump back against the alleys wall, “Parthevia. Just here to visit. Ain’t from the best of places, so when I finally saved up enough cash to make the trip, I thought . . Where better to look around than this place? Its regarded pretty highly as a city of wealth. Wanted to see what your definition of slums was like in comparison to my own. Unfortunately, you guys don’t really seem to HAVE slums . .” A lie? Partly. She’d traveled here from Parthevia, she came from the slums, and she was DEFINITELY interested in looking around . . However, her purpose was not solely that. Not that HE needed to know the truth.

Sharp emerald hues return to focus upon the man, “Seriously though . . That’s an impressive title. The way you’re speaking leads me to believe that you weren’t exactly of noble birth . . In which case, you might be similar to me . . And if thats true then I’m envious and pretty amazed that you managed to worm your way up as far as you have, good job.” Her praise was sincere, she found people who could raise themselves up like that to be admirable and kind of boggling considering she couldn’t even fathom attempting to do something like that for herself.

An advisor then? A courts-man? Something like that, most likely. Alright, then she really couldn’t off this guy. Sighing, the girl shrugs once again, “Just curious is all. Where I’m from its pretty weird to see anyone out this late unless they’re up to something unsavory.” Considering the circumstance, she kept her chin low, her hood raised, and her face from the light as best she could. It was for the better that nobody got a good look at her just in case things went awry.

Nodding in agreement, she looks to the man expectantly, “Hand ‘em to me then, I’ll do my best.” There seemed to be quite a bit of paperwork . . But if they worked together then it should be a somewhat easy job. Sure, it’d take some time but, they could get it done! And then they could go get a drink afterwards too! Or, maybe just go rest. But she assumed he’d probably want to go do something considering he felt left out beforehand.
