Update about this: I AM GOING TO PRIDE WETHER THEY LIKE IT OR NOT!!!!!
I got outed when I left my mom to catsit mine and my girlfriend’s cat while the two of us went on a trip together. She went through our stuff while cleaning and found love letters gf wrote me. Next thing I know, my dad and I are having a very emotional conversation in my apartment and my girlfriend is looking for a new apartment and job.
It’s calmed down a bit, my dad ignores me a little, my mom gives me too much attention probably bcs she thinks I “turned” gay bcs they didn’t love me enough or some dumb shit, and my brother just wants to play REPO with me.
But yea in other news they evicted my girlfriend as if that’s gonna do anything. we still see each other her every day and sleep over and go on dates etc…
I DID lose a lot of attendance in school and I am behind on work bcs I took a long break for my mental health.
But otherwise, nobody died, nobody ended up sick or hospitalised, the world did not stop turning. I’m still here, still in love, still protesting and making art and music. Getting outed wasn’t the end of the world and I’ll always have my beloved local queer community.
