this year marks 25 years without Aaliyah. the fact that 25 years ago she was on the peak of her career, ready to conquer the world and then on August 25th everything ended. to me there is a world and time before and after 2001. this is how loosing Aaliyah impacted me as her fan.

I love how Jonathan Anderson plays with the textures. for the latest Dior couture collection he explores drapping/ruffles. there is something very beautifully theatrical about his design yet he still makes it to look so accessible and comfortable. it's like comfort clothes but make it Couture.

Couture fashion week has started and Schiaparelli has already delivered the most beautiful and stunning collection of the season. this is a proper Couture ladies and gentlemen. I love everything from it, I love the structured silhouette which has become a staple highlight by Schiaparelli. it is bold, beautiful, classy but with edginess a proper couture always should look like! i love it!
