tip for my hoarders with bag / bank space who like random ways to make gold: save your medallions and plop them into the mystic forge :) they give back orbs (which currently are all around 10silver a piece, so you can earn a decent amount on those), crystals, amalgamated, and crests. crests can also be used to forge gamble (there's also a guaranteed recipe, but idk if it's worth it to do)

i like to put them in my bank and when i hit 250 on any of them, take 100 out and gamble

"Mother," Aurene called quietly, stretching her long neck out until she could nose gently at Keres. It was some time in the middle of the night, if Keres guessed right, though it was hard to tell this far north.

"Hmm?" She sat up carefully, still wary of the healing wound Bangar had given her. She grimaced at the memory of the fire arrow, the way it had burned. Aurene's cool regard washed across her mind - familiar and alien at the same time. The love of an Elder Dragon. The brand seemed to be healing, at least. It didn't burn so badly anymore.

"I've got something for you. I hope it will...Help." Protect you she didn't say, but it came across so clearly through their bond. The connection was so much stronger now, but she couldn't find it in herself to worry she'd lose herself in it, that Aurene would subsume whatever intrinsic thing made Keres herself. It felt natural.

"What is it?" Aurene retreated, then returned, dropping something carefully into Keres's hands. "An amulet?" It felt like Aurene, looked like her brand crystal, and suffused Keres with warmth.

"Your adventures before we met, and our struggles together...The strength from our bond made...Real." She lay her head gently next to Keres, who leaned into her.
