My crazy theory for Hell Bent

(Spoilers if you haven’t watched Heaven Sent)

Throughout Clara’s story we’ve gotten hints of her being ‘remembered’ by the Doctor:

- “Run you clever boy and remember me” - “I let Clara Oswald inside my head. Trust me, she never leaves” - “When do I not see you?”

And now we get a whole episode of the Doctor talking to Clara, seeing her and even hearing her voice in his mind, even after her death. And he did that for over 2 billion years!

So, this crazy idea came to my mind. What if the Time Lords punish the Doctor for being the hybrid by erasing his memories? What if, in the end, he forgets Clara? O.o
