I decided to go back and look at Gen's posts going back a few years maybe Dec 2020 (another strange hunch) like a month or so ago. Do note this was before I started following his mom and sister out of curiosity, and realized a few things. Jared used to like her stuff a whole lot more, maybe miss a few weeks worth of stuff here and there but then start liking multiple posts in a row... until about Dec 2022. After that, Jared's likes on her posts greatly declined to become more or less a handful and is still the same today (will now go months between liking her posts now).

Onto the red flags I've noticed that tell me there might be some family stuff going on here. Jared's sister follows Jared on Instagram but guess who does NOT? His mom. Yes, you read that right. Jared's mom doesn't follow him on Instagram. I also found his dad follows Jared on Facebook who by the way doesn't follow Gen.

Oh how funny, his mother suddenly started following him not too long after I submitted this ask around March 18 or so. Gotta love it when these people give away the fact they clearly read the blogs, ya know?

She had some regrets…look at her dissociating while he’s talking 🤣

She should really stop pulling these stunts because, while I haven’t always thought that Jared necessarily improves the discussion (the one about the whale specifically, don’t come for me because it was just bad) people are most definitely walking away with a bigger impression of him. Not her.

She posted a poem in her IG stories recently. This is a close up & edited view (for easier reading) with the OG post below it:

Of course it did.

Why? Okay, let’s unpack this a bit.

Side note: I understand that this poem, like many poems, can be interpreted multiple ways, however, even though I get what the poet was trying to say (ie daughters are healing/inspiring), I don’t like the general “daughters are only useful to make up for their mom’s shitty upbringing” vibe.

“if you ever have a daughter, it will be payback and it absolutely is”

Geneva definitely gets paid back in dollar bills by using Odette on her public monetized IG account. Was she thinking of this interpretation while reading it? Probably not but I did because, well, it’s true.

“she is all the love I’ve ever tried to give and all the love I should’ve received”

Geneva identifying with this part isn’t surprising since she’s a child of divorce & has/had a less than stellar relationship with her parents from what she’s said in the past.

What’s telling to me is that she seems to agree with the poet that daughters exist to give some kind of curing love to their mothers that they never got from others - like they’re some emotional filler of a void made by their mom’s emotionally fucked up life. Um, no, imo working through & healing from this stuff is the job of a therapist, not your daughter’s responsibility nor is it a good reason to have a child.

This section of the poem may also reflect on how Geneva sees herself in relation to others (ie “all the love I tried to give”) and what she expected of others, especially her parents (“all the love I should’ve received”). It’s all about her feeling slighted, generally speaking. Could this slighted feeling include Jared in some way? Sure. Despite the contractual setup they’ve been involved in for 14 years, she is still bound to feel shitty and regretful about it at times. I mean, it’s possible she could’ve ended up in a traditional marriage with someone more wealthy than Jared if she hadn’t (in her POV) “settled” for a contractual one with him.

“she is all the magic I lost along the way”

The magic Geneva lost: Childlike wonder and the life and acting career she had before Jared. This line also ties into the long running theme of Geneva’s life since her daughter was born: Odette is the sole source of her happiness and well, screw the boys, Jared and anyone else. Odette is The Main Character…or more accurately, The Main Prop To Get IG Engagement.

I think she was gunning for some sympathy with this post but good golly gee, I just can’t muster the energy to give a rats ass for someone who chose to mostly live off their partner’s bank account and plaster their kids on social media for lip filler money.

Speaking of money, cheers to Jared on getting a new acting job so fast. As you can see, she’s happier than hell to have some real coin coming in instead of those measly CW paychecks, even if it’s only for 3 episodes (so far). Oh and if the spin-off happens, I wouldn’t be surprised if she weasels her way onto it somehow but let’s hope that doesn’t happen. She’s ruined enough TV shows for one lifetime.

No doubt Jared is thrilled to have a temporary excuse for not being her IG clickbait as the the show films in Vancouver.

Late in the interview, when taking questions from the audience chat, she even asks the author 2 of the exact same questions she herself had asked at the beginning. And she clearly doesn’t even realize.

Like, what is Charlie even there for if not to help pick out the best audience questions so she’s not scrambling to do it on the spot? Why is Momentus even a thing?? After watching this, I’m sure it all has more to do with a convenient tax scam than anything.

I won’t be doing this for every one, but I had some time. So here’s the 5 min highlight reel.

As I’ve said, she was visibly uncomfortable throughout.

If you were thinking, “there’s no possible way she tries to overshadow his answer with a wholly unbelievable story about how she got locked out of their hotel room whilst bare assed” then you would be wrong.

She won’t say what hotel or in what city, but in summary, she says that after she and Jared “did what couples do” one night (you’ve already lost me lol), she wakes up in the hallway outside their room as the door is closing behind her at 2am. She’s naked, the door is now locked, and Jared is asleep. She goes on to say that she had to go down several flights of stairs and find the lobby in order to get someone to let her back in the room as Jared wasn’t waking up to her knocking.

When I tell you this idiot is HYSTERICALLY telling this story. She sounds manic. And that display of anxiety might lead you to believe that it was a true story, but there’s a few problems here:

1.) She says that she doesn’t sleepwalk and she doesn’t have night terrors. So how in the Great Blue Fuck did she dissociate so hard that she landed in the hallway? The host wants you to think that she was dickmatized by the Padacock. He says there must have been some “magical shit” happening in that bed.

It feels more likely that this whole story is a lie or she stole it from someone who was drunk or high as giraffe balls. Because this just ain’t plausible at all.

Gen says that she doesn’t even want to know what happened for her to wind up out in the hall. This is yet again inconsistent with her health anxiety that we have seen over and over again. If this really happened, she would scour all available resources to find the supplement to prevent it…She knows she was high af.

2.) So she’s locked out of the room, goes through a door that she doesn’t recognize (nor is marked as a stairwell, apparently) and then gets locked in said stairwell. The fact it’s not very clearly marked as a stairway exit seems like a fire hazard. But also, how well can you read when you’re inebriated? *side eye*

Down the stairs, to the pool area, through the bar, and finally to the lobby she goes.

3.) Being bare assed, she has no ID on her. But she introduces herself with her full name to the woman at the front desk and is escorted back to the elevator and back to her room. The whole time, presumably still mostly naked save for a scrap of “insulation” she foraged in the stairwell.

So you’re telling me that a naked woman who the attendant doesn’t recognize is not offered so much as a towel to cover her bits while she explains the situation? A high end hotel (because, duh) and no one is concerned about taking care of the naked, confused lady who could be a patron? And who now has that pink fiberglass insulation in her crevices??

And then, per her report, without calling upstairs, she is taken up to the room of a celeb who is presumably in one of the nicest rooms in the building? No questions asked??

She says that once back in the hotel room she points to Jared and says, “see that’s my husband” and the hotel staff is just like “oh well this explains everything…carry on, naked lady.” The whole time Jared is just knocked the fuck out?? Girl…be careful mixing y’all’s Xanax with alcohol. That shit is dangerous.

In conclusion: This. Did. Not. Happen.

What really gets me is the intent behind this performance. Some fans/stans may tell you that Gen regaled us with this hilarious tale to balance the gravity of what Jared had shared. She was trying to make him laugh or feel better, right? I don’t really think so. Jared isn’t uncomfortable talking about his mental health. He wasn’t needing to be cheered up here either. This was a selfish way to let the tension out of the room in order to ease her own discomfort. (It happens in group and couples therapy all the time.) It then also comes across as an attempt to one-up him and end the interview on a wildly memorable note for her. The Mental Health Card is that epic Uno Draw 4 Card that connects Jared to so many and makes him so relatable…and Gen resents him for it.

If you’re skeptical about Gen having a pattern of responding to serious circumstances with immaturity, just listen to her tell it on a previous podcast from 2021:

That’s probably because the thing about him calling her in 2015 and her telling him to come home, and all the support that followed is an exaggeration.

Gen has not ever been one to speak openly about that situation, nor was she featured in AKF promo, for example. In fact rumors swirled at that time that came conflict within their marriage was largely to blame for his breakdown and people noticed she was relatively absent from the Texas sightings after he flew home.

She was, however, rumored to be the one who broke the story that he ultimately was getting treatment at a “clinic.”

In maybe the biggest brand partnership for Towwn yet, Gen wants you to remember to replace everything in your pre-teen’s bedroom with “sustainable” products from Pottery Barn Teen.

What should you do with your old bedding, you ask? Honestly, she doesn’t care. But here are some highlights:

1. Shoutout to old trinkets and upcycling out of obligation, but there’s that word “source” again. I hope it’s clear by now that this is just code for “purchase,” but that would be too honest.

2. It’s not even tangled…what’s the issue here??

She is confusion. Give her an Emmy already.

3. You know when the best time to paint is? After everything has been staged. Hands down, solid advice. But not to worry, this paintbrush has never seen paint and this can wasn’t even opened.

When she said “paint smarter” she meant “source someone else to do it.”

4. There’s an ask in my inbox about Charlie that I will get to, but this charade below is all him. Jared has never once commented on a Towwn post. But suddenly here he is with a “signature” pun to build engagement on an important ad opportunity. Seems legit.
