SENSATION: you could never think we do THIS😲...
Okay, now when we attracted you attention - this post is about food 🍗. *long-but-fun-read*
We want to conclude our PREMIUM Experience by sharing what we did outside PREMIUM - mostly (thesis writing) enjoying our lives :D
Our teammates decided to share what they like: mostly cooking but also some fun time-spending activities.
Do you remember our chef - Bansi (sounds almost like Ramzi, right) 😉😉and her passion for food? Well, check THIS out!
1. Indian breakfast - Poha.
Do you start your day with a healthy breakfast? Nah, you should first drink a class of 💧 :D But yes, breakfast is essential.
Comments from our chef: “It is made of processed flattened rice, roasted with chilies, onions, mustard and cumin seeds, curry leaves and Indian spices”.
Sounds about right for the start of the day? Get your caloriezzzz! 💪
2. KFC Basket Gobi Manchurian (cauliflower)!
Chinese cooking + seasoning techniques = perfect for Indian tastes!
3. Lemon rice & Mint rice (look like a human brain, huh? 🧠)
Bansi says it’s simple: “White rice flavoured with lemon, mint, peanuts and lentils”.
4. Panner butter masala and Roti (yuuuum!)
“Cottage cheese cooked with the spiced up onion, tomato, garlic, ginger and Indian spices and roti (indian bread) to go with it”, Bansi is for sure professional!
If you need recipes, contact Bansi ❤
Our next chef - Maria! It means more fancy stuff to come!
Looks delicious!!
Maria comments: “”This is a beet burger, which was my only patty option after eating burgers three days in a row because the bun package size is not one-person-dinner-confinement friendly”. Can’t agree more, but this is perfect chance for experiments, yeah!
Comments from the chef: I learnt you can replace the tamarind paste in your sauce for ketchup :D It was delicious, but I have still bought tamarind by now”. Well, if it works, it works! Glad you enjoyed it, Maria!
A little story behind the photo:
”So I discovered a beautiful forest while running to the south end of the city, and it turns out the plants growing on the entire floor are ramsons, which is a type of wild garlic. So I carefully harvested some (not taking too much from one spot so it regrows) and spent a long time cleaning it with a dynamically rotating multi-step/pot process. -> I have 2 jars of amazing pesto in the fridge now (which basically could be a year's supply)”.
Maria: “Recreated my favorite room service snack from times spent on a hotel room after work in India: Peanut Masala Chaat. Steamed raw peanuts, chaat masala (crazy tasting stuff with acidic green mango powder, and lots of other spices), tomatoes, onion and most importantly: coriander :)”.
5: Prettiness is in simplicity: “A bowl of porridge and fruits with lots of topping options of seeds, nuts etc. *content varies”, - can’t agree more with Maria!
Uhhh, that’s it for fancy cooking 😜
Anna wanted to share two typical Russian salads “Russian Winter Salad” aka “Olivye” (white) and “Dressed Herring”, (purple) which is also known as “Herring under fur coat”.
Wanna know where the coat is? Write Anna!
Do you know Italian Mafia? 🔫You better do, because this is a part of their routine!
Of course Lorenzo doesn’t have anything common with the mafia (or we don’t know something?!!!), but he is glad to received gifts like these ones straight from Cuba! 🚬 This is how SBe students relax, huh!
*smoking is bad for your health and and we don’t promote it*
Hope you enjoyed this! ❤❤❤
