She knows it’s rude, but she can’t help it. She’s been staring at this beautiful creature for quite some time now. She wants to touch the glowing ball. There’s suppose to be a head there, but instead it’s just…

well, she’s certainly interested. 

Okay okay, not sentient, unless it was disguising its sentience of course. 

Humanus looked around, wondering what to do with this creature. “U-Um, here…” He grabbed the creature with his hands. “Th-there, like that?” 

Exo stated that there were animals that liked being picked up, but also ones that can melt skin with the acid they secrete, and also would bite off the hand if picked up. He hoped this creature was like the first one.

Geno makes a loud screech after being grabbed, more to scare the other in letting them go. Their wings started to flutter a whole lot as they tried to get away from the other. No need to repeat anything when the grumpy squeaks were showing off enough of how they were feeling.

Welcome to SpiraleFES 2021!

A word of warning first: this is not an event and does not count as event participation towards ranking up. These are merely a bunch of fun activities that persist throughout the summer. While we will run an event in August, you will still be able to use SpiraleFES activities for non-event threads during that time!

The city is decorated festively from top to bottom, each and every ward sporting streamers, festive music, and providing a number of fun events. These can be used for threads throughout July and August, and so we encourage you to make use of them for some interesting interaction ideas! The list of events is as follows:

“Ah! You’re sentient! Okay okay didn’t expect that honestly… Unless you’re one of those mimicry animals.” Exo used to talk on and on about those types of creatures, although Humanus doesn’t really pay attention much.

Geno tlits their head to the side, though their eyes give up nothing as they stare into the other’s… orb of a head. While it was true that Geno was more sentient than most, it didn’t change that they were mostly animal-like in all actions.

Humanus looked around, wondering what to do with this creature. “U-Um, here...” He grabbed the creature with his hands. “Th-there, like that?” 

Humanus was exploring this odd city he was in. He was very glad no one seemed to point out his head, something even people at the Pyramid do, although this place seemed to hold more varying creatures than that place!

A chirp of some kind alerted him and he turned around.

A… Dragon? He heard of those before. A bug dragon… Maybe? He doesn’t know a lot about animals nor cares for such things. They’re not sentient, after all.

“Umm… Hello… Can you… Leave?” Oh god, what if it was attracted to his head. He remembers times several small creatures were attracted to his glowing head. “Please leave.” He grabbed his wooden spear just in case, although he knew that he can probably defend himself easily.

They give another little chirp, listening to the words the other was saying. Leave, now that was a kind of word it had heard before. Though that never stopped it in the past.

“Dangerous? Hm, never thought of that truly, maybe because of how strong I am with my full power I kind of… Don’t really care. I don’t like keeping secrets, too bothersome for me.”

Humanus shrugged his shoulders. “Yeah, no big plans, why do I need them? I have lived for quite some time, older than some species themselves, so I do not really care. There’s no rush, as long as I’m alive I’m okay.”

 “Unfortunately you are now in a society, that rather likes its secrets. Unless you can divine ways to ascertain why we are here.” He points out, rather bluntly. After all every mortal had their secrets, and those who were immortals and so called gods were something that needed to get used to. 

 “I mean in no disrespect to this statement. But you live now in a city where majority of your powers are sealed. Or perhaps gone for good. No doubt they will never let you have the full scope of your powers.”

Another statement. 

“Oh? Huh, never thought of that…” Humanus tilted his head up to look at the sky… at his old home(s).

“I… don’t know really, my species didn’t have an economy so I’m not used to that sort of idea yet, and I… Hmm, the closest thing I can think of is maybe going to local libraries, learn the culture and such.” He paused for a second. “Yeah… That sounds like a good idea. You know what? I like learning about cultures, seeing the differences yet similarities between them, seeing how they reflect society as a whole…” Uh oh, tangent time.

“Like, my species have two main societal rules, the more abstract you are, the stronger you are, and also that sharing is power. So it reflects how my species dislike others because of how ‘powerful’ we are compared to them, yet we can tell each other secrets and items and everything without worry, you know? But that probably comes from our origins when we were just a clump of cells sharing with each other.”

 “If this were Lumopolis, or any other city. That would be dangerous, but considering how powerless others are within this city…” there is no harm ins being talkative, it is only when you begun a foothold into the city that you must watch what you say. Anything else right now is rather useless in terms of information. One could learn about the secrets of the universe, but ultimately such knowledge is useless. 

 “Seeking new knowledge when one is bare bone dry, a worthy task. And will that be all? No grand schemes?” Schawrtz had quiet a few but not now. Not now…

“Ah- yeah I’ve noticed that. I literally had a paper cut today, a paper cut! It healed effortlessly but still, for paper to cut through my skin so easily…”

Humanus, seeing the gesture, decides to sit next to him, although his posture was a lot more laid back.

Wow, long name, although he knew of multiple cultures with way longer names.

“Ah, I’m just Humanus, former leader of religion & culture of the immigration division of the artificial planet the Pyramid.”

Humanus nodded, remembering when he was younger, playing with Ange. “Yeah, used to live with my sibling before some things happened.”

As in all things of nature, things always happen. Wether you want it to or not. Schwartz could go on and on about it given the chance, but he is a practical man who can seperate love and responsibility in a heartbeat. literally in most cases. 

 “A papercut. It must have come as a shock to you. but you seem to have kept a moderate amount to heal instantly from that.” judging by its appearance, defitely not a mortal. Or something that could be understood by mortal means. 

“I... don’t know really, my species didn’t have an economy so I’m not used to that sort of idea yet, and I... Humanus would’ve smiled if he could, hearing the next set of words, although the word limit saddened him a bit. But never mind, some people just don’t want three textbooks worth of history.

“Oh, well the best I can describe my species as… Well, some other species describe us as gods or angels, but in the words of my sibling and of the millions of years of history, we are a group of forcefully modified cells. Although that part of history is long, strenuous, and to be honest horrible.”

No one wants to hear a long speech unless they thought it was truly important. Short and to the point, at the very least if it was long it should be a mutual agreement for both parties to hear the sides of the story. 

 “I would be worried, hearing those words. But seeing as even so called gods can be brought into this city without much trouble. Both our powers have been reduced to husks.” he states, sitting gracefully as if holding a court. there was a imperial sort of majesty to him even when he is reduced to this state of poverty [compared to what he is used to]. 

 “Forgive my manners. It has been a tense moment. I am now former Duke Daniel Schawtz. Former ruler now of Lumopolis city.”

he takes a look around the quaint area.

 “Hmm. if my theory is correct. Than you are not of the same species as say, my enemy.” the appearance of said enemy, known as eclipses were very varied and often nonsensical to most. To someone like Schwartz. he had to keep a good memory of everything, stored in neat little boxings inside his head.
