there was a fire in his eyes. an undeniable spark, filled with passion and purpose. a dutiful man, committed to justice’s cause. a contrast to his person, which held an entirely different stance. calm, collected, bordering on cold. the remarkable man was very taciturn. words were seldom spoken, his communication brief and expressive. no embellishments were needed to convey his messages. theseus hadn’t a single ounce of romance. yet, a keen observer would find place for some, if they held his gaze long enough. what was also undeniable was the familiar shade of melancholy that meddled with the striking blue of his eyes. far older than his years, weighing down on the heart that no longer sang any songs. a sense of loss that, despite being kept atbay, was overwhelming all the same. 

❝     THESEUS  ,  WHAT  DID  you  do  ?     ❞     Eyes  were  widened  ,  and  dark  eyebrows  raised  when  she  looked  at  him  .  Confusion  mixed  with  frustration  painted  all  over  pale  features  ,  soon  turned  into  a  clenched  jaw  and  a  rather  deadly  glare  .

a gentle  (  albeit little  )  smile curls around the corner of his lips,  the name  BITTERSWEET  for newt feels sorrow about the boy’s faith.  another failure,  much like the girl from sudan.     ‘     he’s been far older than any known obscurial before—  managed to  SURVIVE  for so long despite his suffering.  and there’s something else.  it may be wishful thinking,  but i believe i saw how a  FRACTURE  of him,  his obscurus,  managed to escape.  when did my eyes ever betray me when it comes to such dire circumstances  ?     ’
