First Jamato Now Minute with the "where's the Spoke I used to know?"

That Spoke was left alone after the Mafia. You know... The team that traumatized the entire server? Him especially? He saved everyone and then he went to stalk ash and redd at their secret bases. He basically lost his mind during that arc.
Then he went and made an army (Spoke Galactic Empire I still think about you) who proceeded to turn on him.
Then he found Leo and joined BAT. and that's where the lies started
Leo and Spoke stopped being friends because of them.
Mapicc disappears and Spoke thinks he's dead. His only friend. Gone. He basically has a breakdown and tries to blow up Capital City. (Thanks for stopping him, Parrot)
He finds out the person who took his best friend was the same person who abandoned him at the beginning of the server. The person he was looking for before the mafia started hunting him. That guy hates him now apparently. But what does he know?? He wasn't there! He could've been there and help! But he wasn't!!
Then Spoke tries to kill him. It fails but at least he's not gonna bother him again, right? No of course not.
Mapicc disappears again in the middle of the battle to overthrow Lettuce.
Spoke looses it for a third time. He looks for him for weeks. He can't find anything. Until he does.
He ends up at the Farlands. Jamato is there again. He blackmails Spoke with the truth about what he did to him. Spoke wants to get rid if him. He can't.
Jamato is the leader of Null. Because of course he is. He tells Mapicc Spoke is the leader. Mapicc almost kills Spoke. Mapicc gets taken to purgatory. Spoke is left alone in that maze. He almost jumps off the top of it. He lost him again. And he lost his mind again.
All his stuff gets wiped. He gets taken to purgatory. He tries to escape. It doesn't work. He makes a friend. Jamato kills him in front of Spoke. Spoke stages a revolution. It doesn't work. He tries to rescue the most amount of people he can from the arena. It kinda works.
Underscore asks him to be the new Null leader. He defeats Jamato. He throws Mapicc in the void. The only time was actually at fault for losing him.
Spoke is in this situation right now because of all the people that told him he could never change and treated him like the worst villain on the server.
By this point he's not the Spoke they used to know because he actually snapped. He's lost his mind completely. It's his fault for his choices but it's also a lot of other people's fault.
He tried to prove them wrong. He stopped the Mafia. He stopped LAW. And they still said he can't change.

Jamato constantly asking "where's the Spoke I used to know?" Like he's not one of the main reasons Spoke's not "like that" anymore. Like he's an innocent bystander in all of this instead of the person who started Spoke's decent into madness.
Spoke as a character genuinely facinates me so much. He’s so complex in so many ways, I want to look at him under a microscope and investigate how he works, I want to take apart his character like an old clock and analyse the parts and pieces that make him himself; That make Spoke, Spoke. He’s an understudied topic, an unknown organism, and I’m on the team of scientists that want to find out how he works, what turns in place to keep his endless cycle of guilt and destruction going. He’s a bomb. He destroys things around himself, relationships and land, and most definitely himself in the process.

Null commander called Minute Spoke's friend and i flinched. Like. Spoke JUST ordered his entire army to kill Minutetech. 1 Minute against 500 Null. But look, they're still besties, because Spoke just ordered them to keep him alive! 😊
It's so hard to stay mad at him, like aww okay he's having so much fun, this is Null's first monument, the ungliest bridge known to man. With the ugliest prototype. And ? And ender dragon farm ? Who cares about minutetech or that colony he just slaughtered! ^_^
This is so crazy wow. They just do whatever he wants them to.... and no one rebels against him or argues or anything, and they, especially the Commander keeps enabling him and. Yeah no, this is not going to lead to many good things, but I am excited to see how the civ is gonna be built. Maybe Rome could've been built in a day, if Null was there 🤔
When he said a cell needs to be built, for a second I thought he meant for Minute. But of course. Of course. I really should've figured it out by the way he was laughing

SPOKE: Minute, honestly Minute, I used to think just like you. I used to— I still remember the sense of "importance", I guess I had. When I felt like I was doing something for everyone else. Something for the server. And everytime, Minute, everytime, I still remember what it felt like the day after we defeated the Mafia. That sense of emptiness I had. The sense I had after we defeated the Law. When my best friend was taken— when everyone else was celebrating, but my best friend was taken away from me. Dissapeared.
I still remember having nothing to my name, sat in a cell, tens of millions of blocks away from everyone. And no one came. The server doesn't show mercy, Minute. That's why I'm doing this, Minute. You will never understand what I had to go through, to obtain this. But all I ask from you in this very moment, is to elytra away, fly through that center end portal, and go back to spawn. And maybe then, you'll be worth— hm! Maybe then we can be friends again. Who knows?
The thing is, that when people who used to have any sort of authority over Spoke say something about how his future will crumble, I am inclided to believe them because they're always right. But I do support this idea of having Jamato filling a court jester sort of role in the castle. The jest is that he is dangling above dripstone (DRIPSTONE!!!!) (!!!!!!!!!!!), and he can freely insult the leader without much consequences, because, as i've said, Spoke's keeping him like a trophy.
AM I UNDERSTANDING THIS RIGHT. their meeting room, is around Jamato's cell. He's like their chandelier bro, Spoke wasn't kidding when he said he would make Jamato witness every moment of the civilization, he is in the center of their meeting room. It looks a little silly, with him just awkwardly (presumably afk) standing there
The thing is, that while Jamato is probably right, there is one thing he got wrong. Which is that Spoke doesn't just think he is their saviour, he IS their saviour! He got tasked with saving Null by the Commander! Spoke didn't even think about becoming the next Null leader, before the Commander asked him to! He quite literally, is their saviour.
That being said, Spoke's army attempts in the past.... yeah, have failed to some extent (rest in peace to my beautiful galactic empire), but they weren't forged under these circumstances. We don't even know where he got the players for, for the Empire! Just random chungies who turned on him. Then the rest is. The rest. But you know
It's so funny to me, that whenever Jamato starts threatening or mocking him for something, being sarcastic, Spoke keeps realising how to progress further because of them. I can just imagine how frustrating it must feel, to be throwing yet another insult at Spoke, and suddenly he figures out how to solve world hunger
Jamato is just... walking behind him, following him.... there are no guards around or anything, he is just wordlessly following Spoke....... ok........

I love that Spoke is nice to the Null. Like he threatened them one time when he was mad but that's it. And he never got mad at them just the situation. Bro has crazy power over them and he could just use them without caring. But he cares about them anyway. In his own way.

people don’t enjoy shipping anymore. the point of shipping isn’t the catharsis of watching them kiss onscreen, it’s grabbing the characters and mashing their faces together like you’re five years old playing Barbie in your room again. it’s to take one moment of eye contact in canon and read that over and over and over again with twenty different writers’ interpretations of the characters internal monologues if they were in love. it’s to see the characters interact and cheer because you know that’s another moment to add to your list of canon compliant fic ideas. you’re stressing yourself out, this is supposed to be fun!
