짧다, 길다 (adjectives)
안녕하세요~ This is totally not a cop-out @WotD ㅋㅋ 오늘은 짧다 와 길다에 대해서 적어봐요. Let’s write about ‘short’ and 'long’ ^-^ !!
Yes, these are the Korean words for the Hanja terms from yesterday! As they are adjectives, that act like the adjectives that you know, they are much more versatile than '단’ and '장.'
For instance, you can even use 장 and 길다 in the same sentence … 쟝은 머리가 길어서 장발이에요. (~ For Jean, (his) hair is long therefore he is 장발 (long-haired)).
Of course, you can even talk about books! 해리포터 책 하나는 짧지만, 모두 다 합쳐보면 꽤 깁니다. 짧은 책은 빨리 읽고, 긴 책은 귀찮아서 안 읽어요. ㅋㅋ
Ok, one more day of 'short’ and 'long’ … Include either one of them in your sentence today If you find this to be simple, make sure to try and use the adjectives in different positions.
