My Scream dr is set in 1996, it is based on the first film! The Woodsboro murders never happen though (feels like it's obvious but I feel like someone might think that because I have a horror movie inspired dr I actually want the events to happen, which is an obvious no for me), the movies do exist and are based on a city in Indiana, not in Woodsboro. My s/o is Billy Loomis, but in my dr he's not unstable and most definitely not a killer, the whole thing with Sidney's mom is non-existent (ofc), and he's actually very sweet! We're two horror movie freaks lmao. Basically, I live in California in the 90s having fun with Billy, Tatum, Stu, and Sid (and sometimes Randy), just doing chaos and having parties

I've never shared about this dr because I feel like it's so uncommon people might genuinely believe I want to live the events of the movie, but definitely not 😭 I'm very paranoic as it is in this cr about worst case scenarios that I don't see myself shifting to extremely dangerous realities aside from the fact that it's actual people who die and I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

gods i feel so basic for this answer. BUT that doesn't make it less true. it's my partner fr. she's my qpp (queerplatonic partner) in this reality & because she exists here I'll just call her 𝓐.

she's just such a force of nature. I have no idea where she gets all that energy. she tells me that she feels the most sane when she's upside down. when she gets excited about something its all she can talk about. she just rambles and gets these crinkles in her eyes and AH- i adore her.

in this reality's lore, 𝓐 works as a waitress @ her family's restaurant & I am always lurking in a back booth to be socially awkward because idk how to signal I want to be friends (idk how humans work guys. I'm a mermaid & autistic). she eventually demands friendship and ends up being one of the few I let in on my secret. she gets so excited its adorable. I take her out on the reef and show her my favorite spots regularly.

oooh hard question honestly. my version of a good summer day is usually hanging out inside (with a window open, if the weather cooperates), or deep below the surface to hide from said weather. because I'm a goth who melts in the heat because I choose to wear all black year round like a very smart person.

but I suppose my favorite summer activity is celebrating the solstice. me and my aunt Del will make sun tea & reflect on the ups and down of the year so far, and then I'll do a sunset swim out of the harbor to celebrate the longest day of the year. it's such a energetically rich time and I really do love it.

on the regular though, I really do enjoy getting out to draw from life. whether that be whilst hiding in the back booths of cafes or restaurants, or sitting on the beach to capture the sun shining of the water just right. if im feeling brave, I'll shove my sketchbook into a waterproof bag and take my art to mako island (and pray that the bag doesnt leak)

living on the southern california coast means that summer is basically year round (ignore that i changed the mako mermaids lore, i refuse to live in australia). except, like, the two weeks of mild fall. but, i tend to spend a lot more time on land over the summer. as more tourists show up during a socal summer, avoiding the winter of their own hometowns, which can make it hard to get out of the harbor without being spotted.

however, summer is the season of my second favorite land holiday—summerween. there's a seasonal shop that's only open for summerween and like the month beforehand, and I adore it sm. humans really knew what they were doing with this one. so, having legs over most of june/july isn't so bad at all.

there's a multitude of people i know and am close with in this dr but if anything it's my older twin brothers. . .

my family is my rock in literally everything i do, but my brothers and i are so close that if i'm ever doubtful or lost, speaking with them leaves me feeling so much clearer and lighter it's crazy. like when i was super unsure of whether i should debut solo and what i would even out on the album, they would tell me to just spout out nonsense and whatever idea i liked, i should stick to it.

kam encourages feelings no matter how logical or sensible a situation is, like if i get scolded, he'll never tell me to suck it up and deal, he'll say "be angry, be upset, no one's telling you to slap a smile on your face after getting told off like that." and that became a HUGE staple for how i dealt with a lot of things in the industry after that.

kodi encourages my wild ideas because he always has this firm belief that anything i wanna do, i can very well do it. when i was worried my solo debut would be misunderstood or was too far fetched and came up with the idea for a trailer viewing for it, he wouldn't let me back away from the thought at all. told me this was my journey and my music and however i felt i needed to connect with the world, why should i let anyone tell me no? even myself? these two are my ride or dies, and we have been through so much together i couldn't ever imagine my life or career without them by my side frfr

𓏲ּ𝄢 𝚌𝚛𝚞𝚒𝚜𝚒𝚗’ 𝚘𝚗 - is there a certain place you love to visit during the summer holidays? or a dream destination? with company, or alone?

paradise. which is just the name of my family's new built home in the caribbean after we get a lot of fame and recognition (and money). it is so breezy and expansive, we have a beach just a quick walk from our backyard, we're surrounded by trees and nature, we have so much space for parties, gatherings, celebrations, everything.

and it just makes me and my brothers proud that we could be provide enough security for our parents to get the house they've kind of always wanted, especially since our old house could never hold people when it came to parties and stuff (and because we know so many damn people throughout the islands, there's always something happening at our house).

and not to brag, but it has become quite known that our house is like the relaxation and social house of the summer, the jacksons come over literally all the time, i am plotting on getting princess diana over sometime but we'll have to pull hella fucking strings for that. . . but all in all, my home is awesome and i love having friends come over and we all just have a blast.

OH, and bringing michael up there and showing him how to dance with me is the most precious thing EVER, he gets so shy but he commits to it because it's the way of our family yaknow? and he's not gonna skimp out on any of it, especially not with me. . . i love him. . .

@̲ ‎ lastgirlonearth if your best friend rushed into a city-wide outbreak searching for her brother, what would you do?? are you gonna look for her?? well that's exactly what she's gotten herself into. you see, when she heard her radio squeak the words 'raccoon city' and 'outbreak' in the middle of the night while stress and raging thunder were keeping her awake, she didn't hesitate and grabbed her car keys, determined to find and bring her friend back. who could've known that a drunk and terrified truck driver would crash into her car in the middle of the road, where she would barely make it out thanks to a smashed window before passing out. next thing you know she's waking up strapped to an hospital bed—trying not to panic, she manages to free herself with a broken glass bottle. but uh oh everyone in the hospital tuned into a zombie! and she needs the access cards to both the east and the west wing to try and get out of here. seriously who comes up with this shit?! oh did i also mention the virus-mutated monsters crawling in this place?? after what feels a whole eternity—and a bunch of puzzles—she finally manages to escape the hospital and is now rushing towards the police station, where she hopes to find her friend. while running through the city's streets her handheld transceiver suddenly squeaked with her friend's voice telling her that she's in sewers underneath the city, trying to get to some underground laboratory that she can also access from the mall. with the ground half collapsed in most parts of the city, she rushes to the shopping center, which is also in ruins. and after long hours of surviving in this nightmare, she finally reached the underground train station, escaped the city and reunited with her friend. . . as well as a little girl and a police rookie.

we had this case (pun intended) where it was super freaking hot outside, the air conditioning was broken, & the entire team was sweating like a pig in our suits. reid, being ever-prepared, did bring a mini fan. emphasis on mini. safe to say that we almost opened another murder case after a select few of us, me included, (very civilly, very professionally, very maturely) fought over it.

˚˖𓍢ִ໋🛳️˚ CRUISIN’ ON ˎˊ˗ is there a certain place you love to visit during the summer holidays? or a dream destination? with company, or alone?

ⓘ SOUTHERN FRANCE all the way! I have close but extended family that live in a small town a good several miles above Nice. My family—and often the Shepherds—would visit them for a few weeks in the summer and visit the coastal towns by them. And then we’d run off to visit other french cities along the French Riviera, often staying in hotels and such for those adventures.

Dream destination would probably be ITALY & MEXICO more specifically, Sicily and Venice. And then Cancún and Puerto Vallarta with probably a day visit in Guadalajara.

And I will always always always want company. MY FAMILY is always nice to be around especially in the places linked to my ancestry ( France and Mexico ). But running off with TOMMY was always a highlight of my trips, when he’d pull me away from the other’s a take me some place that was just us. And I’ve always dreamed of traveling the world with LILY. I’m completely blessed to have been given parents that could afford regular, if not excessive, trips like this. Lily was raised differently and I’ve always wanted her to experience just as much as I have. We managed to convince our parents to let her join us on a trip one time, it was life changing for both of us.

˚˖𓍢ִ໋🌊˚ GRAND SEA ˎˊ˗ who do you consider a turbulent, yet beautiful, force of nature in your reality? unpredictable, yet just as magnetic?

ⓘ GRANT GIBSON would probably be the closest, out of everyone I’m friends with, to fit that descriptor. I would say Tommy, but he’s more tame and mature in this reality. I mean he’s still restless, hyperactive, and annoying at times—especially when he feels he needs to be. But most often than not he’s kind of still and tame. Grant on the other hand is always kind of just all over the place. He can physically stay in one place however long you need him to. But his mind goes in various directions you can never predict. His mind is truly all over the place. And he has ideas come to him, seemingly out of nowhere, that any rational person would think over a couple times than abandon them, but he’s almost always full speed ahead. Like the one time he caught his friend staring at my thighs and he decided to slowly start dragging the hem of my dress up my thighs. He’s a lot for sure, but I love him. He’s a personality you’d love to get annoyed by. He makes things fun, and he makes you feel warm and loved when he focuses all of his annoying little habits on you.

˚˖𓍢ִ໋🍦˚ ICE-COLD POPSICLES ˎˊ˗ what's a favourite childhood/early memory you revisit? why? who's in it?

ⓘ A POST TRIP SWEET MOMENT between Tommy and I. Is this a childhood memory? No. Is this an early memory? No. Is this a memory from maybe a little over a year before I shift? …Maybe. But it’s a summer memory I look back on somewhat fondly—aka, I get giddy thinking about it—so I’m sharing it. My family ( my brother and parents ) and the Shepherds were on our way back from a trip to Thailand when this happened. And keeping in mind I script that weed is legalized EVERYWHERE, my brother had bought a bag of edibles from a dispensary near our hotel. Right before we got on the plane home he offered one to Tommy and Tommy’s twin brother, Billy. And then I asked for one, to which he said no and then I begged him until Billy convinced him to give one to me. The strain was INIDCA and it was a SOMEWHAT HIGH DOSE. But I’ve been partaking for a year now regularly so my tolerance is somewhat better than when I first started. However… it did in fact hit me hard. Thankfully there was no greening out but I could hardly move. And thank god it was a decently lengthed flight until we got to our layover destination, so I could give it time to wear off.

I was sat in a window seat right on one side of Tommy. He had a better tolerance it seemed so he was chilling watching something on the tv while his body seemed more active and awake compared to mine. When what he was watching ended, HE LOOKED OVER TO ME and found me practically as still and motionless as stone just staring at the menu on my tv screen.

WHAT I REMEMBER is Tommy turning my face towards him, getting close to it to look into my eyes, and then making the comment of, “You look fucking dead.” He grabbed an earbud, gave it to me, then cued something on his tv for us to watch. I kinda just stayed stuck in the place where he moved my head, because my body was still pressed back against the seat. My eyes shifted to his screen though, my body was just heavy. When he looked back at me I just remember his hand coming at me grabbing the side of my head and bringing me down to REST MY HEAD ON HIS SHOULDER. I could smell him, which distracted me from watching anything on his screen because all I could then focus on was the rapid heartbeat I could feel pumping up my throat and I could hear rushing through my empty ear that pressed against his shoulder. It was so loud I couldn’t focus on the media that was talking in my other ear, and I was terrified he could feel my heartbeat on his shoulder. I fell asleep like that and stayed there until he was waking me up because our flight was landing in Shanghai. My head felt heavier than usual getting out of my seat and leaving the plane, and I assumed he noticed because as we walked to our next terminal he held on to me with an arm WRAPPED AROUND MY SHOULDERS.

WHAT TOMMY REMEMBERS is grabbing my chin and turning my face to look into my eyes for any sign of life, and then subsequently watching MY PUPILS DILATE double their usual size while he still had that hold on my chin. He told me I looked fucking dead, because despite the dilation, my eyes were struggling to stay open and my face had not moved a muscle; no smile, no tensing of my jaw, no furrowed brow, nothing. He remembers giving me an earbud, and me moving slowly to grab it, and then pop it in my ear all wonky, so he fixes it for me. After he played something he knew I’d like he sat back against his seat to relax. When he eventually looked over to me, though, he saw I hadn’t moved a muscle, so he lifted up the armrest between us, then pulled me down with his palm on my jaw and watched me SLOWLY FALL ONTO HIS SHOULDER. He felt me shift slightly to get more comfortable. Then I was still again for a good 25-ish minutes before he noticed my breathing was softer and my body was much more lax than it had been. He grabbed his phone and used the camera to check if I was sleeping, which was a risky move on his part because I could’ve been awake, but he didn’t even consider that. When he found that I wasn’t awake, he snuck a photo, then enjoyed the rest of the flight with me sleeping on him. He woke me up as we were about to land so I could prepare for the possible bumpy landing. And he noticed how out of it I was, not fully there or awake when getting my things. So once there was room on the walk out of the plane and to the gate for our next flight, he wrapped an arm around me and PULLED ME CLOSE TO HIS SIDE.

ellie 100%. even with seattle not happening in my dr, she is still a very turbulent foce especially with it just being us together while joel heals.

⊹ the only person i think of when someone says unpredictable is rafe. i never have any idea what that boy is going to do or say. his range of bullshit is genuinely outrageous. i don't know why i can't leave him alone. he's just got some pull on me that very few do. no matter how many times he pisses me off, when he shows up with that wounded puppy dog look i always let him in.

⊹ truly, i hate summer. i hate the heat && the humid air that comes with being near a large body of water. but but but i adore the classic summer-time actvities. i love swimming and eating a sanwhich after. i love walking to get ice cream. summer is awesome and also horrible, as most things.

⊹ i woke up in the middle of the night to someone opening my bedroom door. && to my surprise it was rafe , who i had not spoken to in multiple days. when i asked him how he got in, all he did was mumble my younger brother's name while kicking his shoes off. i couldn't even say anything else before he was stealing my covers to sleep next to me. i didn't ask him why he was there. i rarely do.

⊹ jason give me one of those disposable cameras to take pictures on. he heard me. talking about how much i loved the coloring the cameras used. all i did with the camera was take pictures of him. he was annoyed at first but it led to a crazy photo dump on instagram a week later. you're welcome 🙄

ICE-COLD POPSICLES: what’s a favourite childhood/early memory you revisit? why? who’s in it?

Summer related, my childhood summers/vacations in my hometown, Naxos 🥹. Though I live in Vermont, I still visit it again almost every year; playing with my siblings at the beach, feeding the island's cats, getting a fresh meal, drinking a very strong frappe, playing domino with my family

HALF A MANGO: do you have family members or friends with whom you have to share things (e.g. fan, air conditioner, first in the shower) with in summer? do you fight over it?

Summer at my house is always chaos, thankfully we don't all share the shower, but there's definitely the rules of "don't eat my food" and the dibs on the specific part of the couch we all want to sit in when watching something on the TV. Even though my siblings are pretty chill, the fights are more play-fighting rather than full on angry fighting (unless they eat my food).

If it's summer before we leave school, thankfully the girls' school has single dorms, but most probably @snowangelslibrary and I share a lot of stuff 🙂‍↕️

I'm still getting a hold of 50s music, but one that really gives me summer vibes is "Great Balls of Fire" by Jerry Lee Lewis (most probably because it's on the first Top Gun movie but that doesn't matter 🤷‍♀️), "Tosa Kalokeria" by Dakis, "Rosa" by Totó y La Momposina and "aquellos ojos verdes (bolero)" by Los Panchos and Agustín Lara. Also, in most of my realities I do script in my favorite artists no matter the year/setting cause I can't live without them, some examples are Mess, Deny Deny Deny and more by Noah Kahan and others 😅
