Hello there. You did indeed spend a lot of time on my blog if you scrolled back that far haha. I hope you enjoyed what you found. :)

My ideal wedding would be intimate, calm, and simple. Although I do understand why some people are drawn to a large, bold, expensive sort of wedding, I personally find it slightly distasteful. To me, a wedding should be about celebrating the act of committing your soul to another person for the rest of eternity – not about having a grand party.

I'd definitely prefer a very short guest list. My future fiancé is welcome to invite as many people as they want, of course, but I'd push for no more than 50 total guests – closer to 25, ideally. I don't think I'd even have a dozen people I'd want to invite tbh.

As for the aesthetic, I made this moodboard a bit ago. I want deep greens, rich browns, and soft, warm lighting. Ideally, I'd have the ceremony in the middle of a forest, but I've never taken the time to look at plausible venues because that seems like an exercise in futility when I have no fiancé to speak of lol.

As for the actual ceremony, I'd defer to my fiancé's judgement for what sort of ceremony they want to hold. All I really want is handwritten vows and to exchange rings; they're welcome to decide the rest. Besides, it would only be fair to let them have some say in their own wedding lol.
