Azriel, graceful as any courtier, offered her an arm. I couldn’t tell if she was looking at his blue Siphon or at his scarred skin beneath as she breathed, “Beautiful.” Color bloomed high on Azriel’s golden-brown cheeks, but he inclined his head in thanks and led my sister toward the back doors into the garden, sunlight bathing them.

Her dress is sheer because I am no better than Azriel this is a nod to the moment after becoming fae in ACOMAF... except this time she is all powerful and I think that is a beautiful full circle moment.
- Are those Azriels shadows? Could be.
- Are those the cauldron's swirling eddies? Also possible.
- Can the shadows be her own via a bond with Azriel? Yesssss!
- Is there a mix of different art styles? Yes. I am experimenting. 🫣
- Does she have curly hair? No. Sue me 🙌 I needed her powerful not whimsical (forgive me for not having patience to draw curly hair).
I had a couple of surprises along the way, for one I never drew magic like this before. What a learning curve! And I am sure there is still a lot I can improve on.
