You can hate tamlin all you want but it is literally canon he was never actually working w Hybern. He was ALWAYS using him and playing spy. Here is 3 different passages from canon explaining this.

Lucien-“We were backed into a corner with no options. None. It was either go to war with the Night Court and Hybern, or ally with Hybern, let them try to stir up trouble, and then use that alliance to our own advantage further down the road.”

Tamlin-The mocking, hateful gleam faded into granite resolve. “I stand against Hybern.” “Prove it,” Helion goaded. Tamlin lifted his hand, and a stack of papers appeared on the little table beside his chair. “Charts of armies, ammunition, caches of faebane … Everything carefully gleaned these months.”

Feyre-Tamlin. His actions would cover Jurian’s betrayal. I had no doubt Tamlin hadn’t gone back to Hybern’s army after the meeting to betray us—but to play spy. Though after last night … it was unlikely he’d get close to Hybern again. Not when the king himself had witnessed everything.

And before anyone brings up the sisters…. Tamlin had nothing to do w that. Here is Hybern the villian himself even saying it….

The king nodded. “Why did you think I asked my dear friend Ianthe to see who Feyre Archeron would appreciate having with her for eternity?” Even as horror filled my ears with roaring silence, I glanced at the queens, the question no doubt written on my face. Feyre-I was going to vomit. Tamlin, to his credit, looked like he might, too. Lucien’s face had slackened. “She sold out—she sold out Feyre’s family. To you.” I had told Ianthe everything about my sisters. She had asked. Asked who they were, where they lived. And I had been so stupid, so broken … I had fed her every detail.

Rhysand-But Ianthe betrayed Tamlin—told the king where to find Feyre’s sisters. So the king had Feyre’s sisters brought with the queens—to prove he could make them immortal. He put them in the Cauldron

Well to begin that was what 6/7 years ago at this point? lol. Also she never once said she was going to write Mor, Azriel and Elains story seperate from each other. She mentioned wanting to tell their journeys when she was drunk one night & shippers of course latched onto that. Her never mentioning Lucien is not a point in favor of Elucien by the way lol.

It’s amazing you guys will constantly bring up 5-10+ years old interviews that you think are a “gotcha” like her saying elain and Lucien would go on a healing journey over 10 years ago but when in her most recent interview she said Lucien is partly responsible for Elains trauma and that nature can make a mistake w mating bond and only mentioned feysand and nessians bond being true soul mate bonds you guys are like NAH!!!! Means nothing!!!

But what do you mean? I think BOTH ladies are baddies in their own right but genuinly what has Gwyn done that makes her “more” of a baddie then Elain?

*Elain literally killed the king of Hybern (the big bad guy of the books so far) with no training. Saved Nesta and Cassians life. Also in Hofas it talks about how truth teller and the star swords power needs to be activated… yet somehow Elain was able to “step out of shadow” and use Tt. So this means Elain was able to activate it.

*Elain was kidnapped and bound by Hybern and still held it together. Feyre even talks about how she was suprised when she gets to hyberns camp and Elain is fine and not freaking out. Not only does she hold herself together she also helps save Briar… She fights Hybern hounds with her bare feet.

*Elain is also the one who put them on to Vassa, Koschei, The ravens ect. People act like just because Elains power is mental whereas Feyre and Nestas is more physical that her power is somehow “weaker” and that’s not true.

People forget Gwyn started out Acosf as a house bound priestess. Nesta never even touched a weapon before Acosf. Emerie had no training and just worked in her store. And look at how much they grew in 1 book and what they became. Obviously when we get Elains books we will learn more about her, she will have her own growth and her own power arc.

Funny how this event is supposedly promoting Gwyn being the next FMC but yet her name isn’t mentioned once in any of these promos….
