A few things… I never said I didn’t like feyre lol. I said she is not my favorite but I do still like her..

I didn’t make this merch lol. Also if abuse in books bothers you SJMs books are not the books for you as many of her male characters are abusive at times by today’s standards….

SJM literally never said she would never write anything for Tamlin lol but also hate to break it to ya but Feyre isn’t real lol. If some random stranger liking a fictional character hurts you it’s time for you to put the books down and step into reality.

Also since you like feyre does this mean your giving people who commit murder a spotlight?

This isn’t to keep people from spoilers either bc there is Feysand and NC merch here too…..

Also Tamlin isn’t as popular as the inner circle so again this is a intersting choice

I have been saying for so long we are not done w Tamlin or the Spring Court. I have also been saying I think Lucien is going to get his own TOD style book that will take place in the Spring Court….

I like Rhysand more for Feyre because let’s face it after UTM Tamlin and Feyre were terrible together. She needed her mate not Tamlin. He could not help Feyre in the ways she needed and he needed something she could not give him.

But as a character overall? Yes I do like Tamlin more than Rhysand.

First you should know the beast from beauty and the beast is one of my all time fav Disney characters so right away I was always going to love Tamlin because he is exactly like the beast.(down to his good and bad traits)

You can love a character and know they are flawed as well.

Tamlin is also a very complex character. He’s not just wholly good or bad. Yes at times he makes terrible decisions and I do not agree w all his actions(I think this is true for all her characters to some degree as well…) however he does have his heroic and great moments as well. Just to list a few; helped save prythian,taking in Lucien, setting feyres family up for life, getting her dads leg healed, giving himself up to Amarnatha and sent feyre home, was a double agent against Hybern and helped them win the war, helped save elain, azriel, feyre and briar from hyberns camp even though he knew they hated him, help saved rhysands life ect. Does this excuse every bad thing he’s ever done? No of course not but that’s the same for every character lol. It does shows that Tamlin has a good heart but it’s clear he battles his own demons and SJM even confirmed Tamlin has had a terrible life, was abused by his family, has PTSD, has a ton of power and didn’t have the tools to properly deal with all this. I also feel he fully redeemed himself in acowar.

As for Rhysand I know a lot of ppl think I hate him I actually don’t. Hes just bleh to me. Rhysand is your typical generic Romantasy book boyfriend. There is nothing stand out about his character to me. Yes he has some awesome moments too and I do love the Starfall moment between him and Feyre in acomaf but over all he’s just very mid. There are times I’m like awww and times he annoys the crap out of me. Once Cassian and Azriel came on the scene I immediately found them more interesting than Rhysand.

Because I’m busy living my life. Whatever new drama is going on has nothing to do w me. I truly just don’t care about anything acotar related until we get titles or news or SOMETHING about the next book. Until then I’ll post my acotar opinions when I want and keep it moving.

Multiple differences were brought up about Gwyn but It is directly correlated with her training. Right there in canon it is explained why it is brought up. Yall twisted that to try and prove your ship. SJM did not connect that to azriel. You guys did.

Hands down Red Rising. As much as I love Acotar it’s not even in the same playing field as Red Rising. Red Rising is a literal masterpiece IMO.

I put red rising off for so long bc I didn’t think ide like it and it seemed blah to me but I was wrong. So wrong. I think everyone should read red rising. Pierce Browns female characters are FIERCE and while romance is a subplot the romances are sooooooooo good. It’s action packed and honestly has something for everyone.
