I am always willing to take requests. I make no promises on how quickly they will come out. I have to wait for the muses to speak.
I am most comfortable with Supernatural however I am willing to do Doctor Who, Harry Potter, and Avengers stories. You can submit requests for other fandoms but if I donât know them, Iâll have to decline as I wouldnât be able to do it justice.
I love a good song fic. Music tends to be what speaks to me the most. So if you have a song you think fits a certain character and want to see it written, just send it my way.
I am not comfortable writing smut so if thatâs your request then Iâm sorry.

Song Inspiration: Sleep Without You by Brett Young
Characters: Reader, Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester, Eileen, Mary, Jody, Donna, Charlie
Word Count: 2,082
Warnings: Reader gets drunk, fluff
Authorâs Note: This story is not canon compliant because I prefer my characters alive and happy.
âDo not make us come in there and take her, Dean,â Jody says through your bedroom door. You throw your head back and laugh from where youâre standing over the bathroom sink. Dean rolls his eyes from where heâd been watching you get ready. He walks over to the door and pulls it open with a dramatic huff.
âIâm not holding her hostage,â he tells the small group of women he finds waiting. Jody looks past him and you stick your head out of the bathroom.
âIâm almost ready. Sorry,â you apologize. Donna looks between the two of you suspiciously.
âThere was definitely some hanky-panky going on here,â she says. Dean rolls his eyes again and walks back over to the bed, taking a seat on the edge. You laugh but blush despite yourself. She wasnât wrong. The second Dean had seen you in the little red dress, he couldnât keep his hands to himself.
âHonestly, Iâll meet you at the car in five minutes,â you tell them. Eileen laughs and nudges the two other women down the hall, sending a wink back at you before she disappears herself. You quickly slip into a strappy pair of matching red heels and can feel Deanâs eyes still on you. âStop.â
âIâm not doing anything!!â He says, defensively.
âNo, but youâre thinking about it,â you laugh. Standing to your full height, you hold your arms out and turn in a slow circle. âAlright. How do I look?â
âToo damn good,â he compliments. You smile as you step over to him, his hands coming to rest on your hips. âDonât get to see you all dolled up like this too often. Without it being for a case at least.â
âI know. This is actually soâŚnormal,â you say, shaking your head slightly. âA bachelorette party.â
âCanât believe theyâre actually getting married,â Dean muses.
âLittle Sammyâs all grown up,â you tease, giving his shoulders a squeeze.
âMmmm,â he hums. âLeast this time he got my blessing.â You laugh and shake your head. âYou should go before the search party comes back.â Leaning down, you give him a quick kiss.
âDonât wait up,â you tell him. He laughs lightly and gives your hips a gentle squeeze.
âDonât party too hard,â he says. You canât help but laugh again.
âThe party consists of the bride-to-be, myself, your mother, two officers of the law who might as well be your mother and your aunt, and a lesbian. I make no promises,â you say as you run a hand through his hair. He gives you a smile and shakes his head.
âSammy and I will work on the bail money,â he jokes.
âMuch appreciated,â you laugh and take a step back for him to stand. He takes your face in his hands and kisses you tenderly. The two of you stand there for a moment, enjoying each otherâs presence.
âY/N!â Mary calls your name as she comes down the hallway.
âWhoops! They sent the big guns this time,â you say, stepping away from Dean. He laughs as he follows you to the door and leans against the frame, crossing his arms.
âBe careful. Have fun,â he says as Mary takes you by the elbow. You wink back at Dean and give him a wave as you stumble along behind his mother.
***
âDonât wait up.â
Those had been your instructions to Dean. He had tried to follow them. He knew you all would be out late so he made a valiant effort to turn in for the night around 12:30. The scent of your shampoo on the pillow next to him was too much to bear.
At 12:35, he made his way back to the library and poured himself a glass of whiskey. Sitting back in one of the chairs, he pulls his phone out and smiles at the picture of you grinning back at him.
At 12:40, Sam wanders back into the library. He pauses when he sees his older brother. Dean looks up at him and chuckles.
âCouldnât sleep either?â He asks. Sam shakes his head as he walks over and sits across from Dean who pours a second glass. âWhat was it for you?â Sam swirls the glass slowly and cuts his eyes up at his brother.
âShe usually plays with my hair while I go to sleep,â he admits, a bit embarrassed. Dean smiles and shakes his head, taking a drink. âYou?â
âPillow smelled too damn much like her,â he says, as though it were completely obvious. Now itâs Samâs turn to shake his head.
âWhat happened to us?â He laughs. Dean shrugs, glancing back at his phone screen. âI meanâŚIâm getting married in a couple weeks. What?â
âNah. I always saw that for you,â Dean says, looking at his younger brother. Sam gives him a skeptical look. Dean shrugs in response. âHoped for it at least. You deserve it.â
âJust not with Becky?â Sam asks, trying not to smile.
âEileen is a much better choice. Hands down,â Dean laughs. Sam laughs as well.
The two brothers sit in silence for a little while, each taking sips from their respective glasses. Sam watches his brother pour himself another glass before finally speaking again.
âYou deserve it too, ya know,â Sam says simply. Dean looks at him curiously. âYour relationship with Y/N. Being happy andâŚand loved.â
âI havenât done a thing to deserve Y/N loving me the way she does,â he says. Sam frowns but Dean gives him a smile. âAnd yet she keeps on doing it anyways.â
âI understand that,â Sam agrees, raising his glass slightly. Another silent moment passes as Sam gathers the courage to ask his next question. âHave you thought about it?â
âThought about what?â Dean asks, raising an eyebrow.
âMarriage,â Sam says, making some elaborate, grand gesture with his hands. Dean laughs at Samâs awkwardness and looks into his glass again.
âI was about ready to ask Mom for her ring but, ughâŚsomeone beat me to it,â he says, smiling at Sam now. Samâs eyes widen quickly.
âOh!! Dean, Iâm sorry,â he rattles off quickly. Dean laughs and holds a hand up.
âItâs fine. You got to it first, fair and square,â he says, standing and walking across the library. He stops at a lockbox sitting on one of the shelves and quickly puts in a combination. Sam watches his brother, curiously, as Dean removes something from the box. âHad to hustle a hell of a lot of pool butâŚâ He walks back to his seat and holds up a simple but beautiful diamond ring. Sam stares it for a moment before looking at his brother, wide eyed.
âHow long have you had that?â He asks. Dean shrugs, examining the ring between his fingers.
âBought it about two weeks after you asked Eileen,â Dean recounts. âIâd been thinking about it for a while. Almost asked Mom, like I said. I just wasnât sure if Y/N would go for it. What we have now is one thing. Marriage is whole other one. Then when you asked EileenâŚI could see it in her eyes.â
âThat was months ago. Why havenât you asked her yet?â Sam questions.
âDidnât wanna feel like I was just copying you or trying to steal anyoneâs thunder,â Dean explains, going back to the box. âIâll give it a little time. Let you and Eileen have your moment. Then Iâll ask.â
âNeither of us would care. Weâd be thrilled for you both,â Sam tells him. Dean smiles and shrugs, putting the ring away again. He closes the box and relocks it.
âIâve waited this long. A few more weeks wonât hurt,â Dean says. Sam smiles a little and nods as Dean comes back to his seat. Dean stretches and looks at his phone again. âNow, the real questionâŚis when are you two gonna make me an uncle?â Sam sputters on his drink, quickly setting the glass down. Dean roars with laughter as the door to the war room opens up.
âCause the players gonna play, play, play, play, playâŚand the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hateâŚbut Iâm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shakeâŚshake it off, shake it offâŚâ You, Eileen, and Charlie all come in singing together, arms around each other. You all three stumble through a few very uncoordinated hip shimmies.
âDear God. They are wasted,â Dean laughs. Mary runs around in front of your small choir and heads you off at the stairs.
âA little help?â She calls down to her sons. The two brothers get up quickly and make their way up the stairs. Sam wraps an arm around Eileenâs waist and starts to help her down the stairs as she giggles. Mary assists Charlie who grips the handrail as the room starts to spin on her. You cross your arms as Dean comes over to you.
âI told you not to wait up,â you scold him. He laughs and shakes his head, hands coming to rest on your hips.
âI tried, promise. Turns out I just canât sleep without my girl,â he says, pulling you closer quickly. You let out a squeal as you stumble and fall into him. Before you have a second to process whatâs happening, Dean scoops you up into his arms and starts to carry you down the stairs.
âI could have walked,â you mumble, wrapping your arms around his neck. He rolls his eyes at your protest.
âYou wouldnât have made it two steps,â he teases. âIâll put you down if you want.â
âNo!!â You exclaim, tightening your arms slightly. He laughs and nods.
âThatâs what I thought.â
âThese three,â Mary says, pointing between all three of you. âAre not allowed to go out drinking again.â
âHerding cats?â Sam asks. Mary scoffs a laugh.
âCats would have been easier,â she says. Dean looks down at you and smirks.
âDid you not behave for Mom?â He asks. Your shoulders bob up and down as you smile at him coyly.
âWhy? You gonna punish me?â You ask with a wink.
âOh my God,â Mary mutters, quickly leading a still dizzy Charlie towards the hall. Dean laughs wildly as he goes to follow.
âYouâre gonna be so hungover tomorrow,â he says. He glances back at Sam and finds Eileen gently running her fingers through his hair. âSleep tight, little brother.â Sam looks up at him and smiles.
âYou too.â
Dean carries you down to your bedroom and tosses you on to the bed, eliciting another squeal from you. You kick off your heels as he goes through the dresser, finding one of his old t-shirts youâd claimed ages ago. He helps you change out of your dress and into the shirt with ease. You fall back onto the bed with a huff and close your eyes.
âHold on,â Dean says, going into the bathroom. He comes back out a second later with a makeup wipe and sits next to you on the bed. You giggle as he gently and carefully wipes your makeup away. âWhatâs so funny?â
âBig, bad, monster-killing, Dean Winchester is taking my makeup off for me,â you tease. He rolls his eyes.
âYouâd be pissed in the morning if you woke up with all this still on,â he says. He takes extra care around your eyes before finally finishing. âThere.â He tosses the wipe into a nearby trash can.
Dean lays down on the bed next to you and you immediately roll over to face him, moving into his side. He lays an arm across your waist, pulling you even closer. Kissing your hair, he breathes in your scent and sighs. You giggle again.
âWhat now?â He asks.
âYou love me,â you say. Dean laughs softly and nods, pushing your hair from your face.
âYea, I do,â he agrees. You break into a wide grin as you close your eyes. âIn fact, Iâm gonna marry you, Y/N.â You giggle again and nod.
âI get to be the bachelorette next time,â you say. He laughs again and kisses your forehead.
âMomâs gonna be thrilled.â
The next morning, Dean has aspirin and water ready by the bed for you when you wake up. You remember nothing from the majority of the night before, especially anything from when you all returned to the bunker. But when you catch the bouquet at Sam and Eileenâs wedding and see the look on Deanâs face, a fragment of a conversation comes back to you.
This is an experiment to see if there really are as few of us as people think. You can also use this to freak out your followers who think youâre 25 or something. Yay!
The draft: Wrong. I am the pilot chapter of a multichapter fic that you do not have the bandwidth to take on, but will haunt your every waking thought anyway.
There are stories in the works!! I promise!! Inspiration just hasnât been hitting. But I am working on a few things. A cute little fluffy pieceâŚa sequel to an old storyâŚand a potential witch!reader storyâŚweâll see what happens.

Summary: Can our Dream Warriors make it out alive?
Characters: Reader, Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester, Castiel, Rowena, other original characters
Word Count: 3,112
Warnings: Canon typical violence and peril
Authorâs Note: The grand finale!! I can't believe it's really over. This series has taken me a long time to finally get completely posted. I'm pretty proud of it. I hope you've enjoyed the ride. Let's see how it all ends...
Read Chapter 9 here.
Still laying in Deanâs arms, you let out another scream. Dean glares up at the witch as she continues to smirk at the two of you in the floor.Â
âIâll kill you. If you take over her body, I will kill you,â he threatens.Â
âSee, I donât think youâll be able to. I know how she feels about you and, from her memories, Iâm pretty sure you feel the same way,â she says as she walks over and kneels down next to the two of you. âItâs so clichĂŠ. The two best friends who are so madly in love but too afraid to cross that line. Iâve seen that movie a hundred times. I think Iâll change the ending.â She rises to her feet and moves over to the refrigerator in the room. Pulling the door open, she looks in and grabs a bottle of water. âMaybe Iâll get the guy.â You grit your teeth and lay your head back against Deanâs shoulder, another pain hitting.Â
âIf I donât make it, you better rip her apart,â you tell him. He presses a kiss to your temple and shakes his head.Â
âYouâre gonna make it, Sweetheart,â he says before moving to prop you up against the counter. He gives your hand a gentle squeeze before rising to his feet. The witch looks over and smiles widely.
âOh, you wanna fight?â She asks, setting the bottle on the counter. âHow adorable. The knight in shining armor, willing to die for his love.â You let out another scream and watch in horror as Dean charges at the witch. She merely laughs and with a flick of her wrist, sends him flying into the opposite wall. âDean, Dean, DeanâŚâ She says as she walks over towards him. âIâve got the power here. I am in complete control.â He forces himself up and swings at her, knocking her back, stunned. âWhy you littleâŚâ She snaps her fingers and Dean screams out in pain.Â
âStop!!â You scream out, watching as he twists in agony on the floor. âStop!! Iâll give up!!â She looks at you and raises an eyebrow. You swallow thickly, fighting tears. âLet him go, let him wake up, and Iâll give up. Iâll stop fighting.âÂ
âY/N, no!!â Dean calls out through gritted teeth.Â
âPlease,â you beg. The witch watches you for a moment before snapping her fingers once again. Dean stops screaming and sits back, leaning against the wall behind himself. âSend him back,â you tell her.Â
âI will. Calm down. How did you get here though?â She asks, looking back at Dean. He sets his jaw, staring her down. With a smirk, she raises a hand towards you and Deanâs eyes widen.Â
âA different spell,â he tells her in a rush. The witch nods her head slowly as she thinks this over.Â
âLike a backdoorâŚfascinating,â she says mostly to herself. You watch her and frown.Â
âSend him back,â you say once again. She glances at you and with a wave of her hand, Dean disappears. You let out a sigh and lay your head back against the counter. âCan we at least stop this charade?â You ask. She waves her hand once again and the pain fades away along with your overgrown stomach. Closing your eyes, you can feel the life slipping away from you. It wouldnât be long now.Â
âSo many regrets,â the witch says, watching you. You glance at her and frown.Â
âPlease stop reading my mind,â you tell her. She laughs lightly and crosses her arms.Â
âAll those different scenariosâŚall those different playsâŚthis was your favorite,â she says. You sigh and close your eyes again, trying to ignore her. âA normal, happy life. Completely domestic. Married and a baby on the way. You two could have really been happy.âÂ
âIâm just gonna picture Dean killing you now, if thatâs okay,â you tell her. She laughs as she sits in one of the chairs at the table.Â
âI donât get it. Youâre so obviously in love with him, enough to die for him now, but you never said anything. Never made a move,â she says. You groan and shake your head.Â
âThis is not how I pictured the end,â you mumble. She watches you for a moment before waving her hand once again. The kitchen scene disappears and is replaced with a more familiar one. âThis isnât my room,â you comment. You were now resting in Deanâs bed in the bunker. She smiles from her chair across the room.Â
âYouâd rather be in here and we both know it,â she says. You lean back against the headboard with a sigh and close your eyes, thinking about the last time you were really in here. Dean had been beaten up pretty bad on a hunt and youâd stayed the night with him, watching over him and taking care of his wounds. âThis is getting sickening.âÂ
âWell itâs still my mind for a few more minutes. Iâll think about whatever I want,â you tell her.Â
âYou could at least picture him naked,â she mumbles causing you to actually laugh out loud. The laugh dies out quickly as you grimace, squeezing your eyes closed a little tighter. As you lose yourself in different memories, one flashes through your mind and you quickly tuck it away before she has a chance to see it too. It wasnât a happy one. Dean was a demon, hunting you and Sam in the bunker. Youâd taken refuge here in his bedroom, a place you knew was stocked with hidden weapons.Â
âWhy didnât you just kill me?â You ask, forcing yourself to sit up. She glances over at you and rolls her eyes.Â
âLoophole in the spell. I can inflict pain. I can cause injury but I have to drain the life from you slowly,â she explains as she checks her nails. You nod slightly and swing your legs over the side of the bed. âWhat are you doing?âÂ
âI just want to stretch my legs,â you tell her. You knew your legs were too weak to support your weight and thatâs what you were counting on at this point. âSpell seems complicated. Have you done it before?â You ask, trying to keep her talking so she wouldnât be as focused on you. She sighs and lays her head back.Â
âHundreds of times. Iâve been jumping bodies for centuries now. Iâd lost my book in the last jump when I landed in thisâŚchild. Kaylee,â she sneers the name with disgust. You glance at her and frown.Â
âNot a fan of the name?â
âMuch too modern,â she says, looking at her nails casually.
âAnd what do you prefer? Eve?â You question, earning a laugh. She glances over at you, smirking.
âHardly.â She eyes you for a moment as you continue to gauge your strength. âMorcant was my given name. Of course, you people have modernized it. Morgan.â
âIf youâve done this so many times, why did you need the book?â You ask, standing up carefully. Your legs wobble beneath you. She sighs now, seemingly exasperated by your continued questioning.
âIf you must know, itâs the source of my power. Without the book, Iâve got nothing,â she says. Itâs only a moment before your legs give out, as youâd expected, and you collapse to the floor with a crash. The witch looks at you and starts to laugh, rising from her seat. âNot as strong as youâd thought, hmmm?â She taunts, dropping down next to you. Your hand slips under the bed and immediately comes into contact with something cold and metallic. You look up at her and smirk.Â
âNo. But Iâm strong enough,â you say before pulling the angel blade from under the bed. You drive the spike into her stomach and she screams out in agony.Â
âYou bitch!!â She spits through gritted teeth. Something flashes in her eyes briefly before she smirks. She waves a hand andâŚÂ
You sit up suddenly with a gasp and take in your surroundings. Six eyes are watching you closely, all shocked. Sam. Cas. Rowena. The pain surges through you suddenly and you let out an unearthly scream as you fall back into the pillows. Youâre immediately aware of the body next to you. Despite the pain coursing through you, you realize that Dean is next to you, still unconscious.Â
âNo,â you mumble, trying to reach for him. You hadnât noticed Sam had left the room until he comes back.Â
âWhatâs that?â Cas asks. Sam uncaps the syringe and grabs your arm.Â
âMorphine. I took it from the hospital,â he tells him before stabbing it into your arm. It acts quickly, numbing the pain. You feel the pull to go back under and reach out for Sam, to ask him about Dean. He takes your hand in his but the drug takes its full effect before you can get the words out.Â
You come to some time later, groggy and confused. You arenât in the bedroom anymore. Now, youâre in the dungeon, strapped to the chair in the center of the room. The pain is still very much present but it isnât as bad as before, the morphine still working. The door to the dungeon opens and Sam steps into the room.Â
âSam! Whereâs Dean?â You ask. He watches you for a moment then looks down the hall.Â
âRowena, sheâs awake,â he calls out before stepping into the room fully.Â
âDid Dean wake up?â You ask, trying to pull against the restraints. The younger Winchester ignores your pleas, arms crossed over his chest. Rowena steps into the room now and walks over. She blows a fistful of powder into your face, causing you to cough. âThe hell??â You gasp, triggering the pain in your side.Â
âTruth spell,â Sam explains. You stare at him for a moment before you nod, understanding.Â
âPlease, hurry,â you beg. Sam waits for a moment, allowing the spell to take full effect. You groan in agony, hanging your head. âSam, please.â Rowena looks at him and nods once.Â
âWhatâs your name?â Sam asks. Something rushes through you, a tingling sensation, as the spell works.Â
âY/N Y/L/N,â you tell him quickly. You can visibly see the relief wash over him.Â
âWhat happened?â He asks as he rushes over to untie your wrists.Â
âGot an angel blade from under Deanâs bed and stabbed her,â you explain. He frowns and nods. âWhereâs Dean?âÂ
âHe hasnât woken up yet,â he says. His words wash over you. That wasnât possible.Â
âNo. No, she was supposed to send him back,â you tell him. He looks at you and shakes his head slightly.Â
âWhat?â He asks.Â
âI made a deal with her. Iâd give up if she sent him back. HeâŚhe disappeared,â you say, looking up at Rowena. Her brow furrows as she thinks this over.Â
âDid you see her die?â She asks. Sam gets you free from the chair and you move to stand quickly. Too quickly. You fall into Sam immediately and he wraps an arm around your waist to support you.Â
âNo. I justâŚwoke up,â you tell them. You begin to pale and Sam frowns.Â
âAlright, letâs get you back in bed,â he says, scooping you up into his arms quickly. You shake your head.Â
âNo!! We have to get Dean back!!â You protest. Sam starts down the hall and glances back at Rowena.Â
âWhat do we do?â He asks. You groan and lay your head back, closing your eyes. The pain was coming back with a vengeance.Â
âThis is tricky,â she says, shaking her head. Sam carries you back into the bedroom where Cas is examining Dean. The angel looks up from Deanâs still body and manages a small smile.Â
âItâs Y/N?â He asks. You look over at him and nod quickly before your eyes fall to Dean.Â
âRowena, what happened?â You ask as Sam lays you on the bed once again.Â
âCould she have jumped to Dean? Could she control two bodies at once like that?â Sam asks, looking at the witch. You force yourself up onto your elbows to watch them.Â
âThat would takeâŚdecades of practice,â she says, shaking her head.Â
âShe has it!!â You tell them. They all look at you. âShe said sheâs been doing this for centuries. Jumping from body to body.â You gasp suddenly, remembering. âThe book!!â You attempt to force yourself up from the bed but Sam reaches over, stopping you.Â
âWhat about it?âÂ
âShe said itâs the source of her power. Without it, she has nothing,â you explain as you try to sit up. Cas brings Sam another syringe of morphine and you frown at him. âNo!! I have to help Dean!!âÂ
âWeâll figure it out. You canât even stand right now. Rest,â he tells you, but you shake your head defiantly. Â
âSend me back,â you say, looking at Rowena. âYou sent Dean in. Now send me.âÂ
âThatâs too risky,â Cas says, frowning. Â
âI donât care about the damn risk!! I have to get Dean back!!â You protest. Sam nods slightly. Â
âOkay. Yea. Weâll send you back. Just lay down. Let Rowena get the spell ready,â he says. You watch him for a moment before laying back against the bed once more. Your eyes land on Dean, next to you on the bed. He looks like heâs peacefully sleeping but you can only imagine what sheâs doing to him. The slightest pinch in your arm draws your attention quickly. Sam empties the syringe into your arm as you stare in disbelief.Â
âYou lied.âÂ
âIâm sorry, Y/N,â he says, rising to his full height. Tears flood your eyes as you feel the drugs taking over once again. âWeâll destroy the book and youâll both be fine.âÂ
âI love him, Sam,â you cry.Â
âI know,â he says, brushing your hair from your face. âAnd you can tell him that as soon as you wake up.â He leans down and presses a kiss to your forehead as the morphine pulls you under once again. Â
***
Some time later, you come to once again, just as confused as the last time. This time you hadnât been moved. Youâre still lying in Deanâs bed only now you have a blanket draped over you and youâre completely alone. Sam, Cas, and Rowena were nowhere to be seen and Dean was no longer next to you. Carefully, you rise to an upright position, wincing only slightly at the pain in your side. A gunshot wound and broken ribs were not a good combination. Forcing your stiff limbs to move, you get your legs over the edge of the bed just as the bedroom door opens.Â
âWhat do you think youâre doing?â Dean asks. You break into a wide smile, and if you could, youâd run and tackle him.Â
âYouâre okay!!â You proclaim. He laughs as he walks over.Â
âIâm always okay. You need to lay back down,â he tells you. Shaking your head quickly, you hold a hand out for him. He takes your hand in his and sits down next to you on the bed. âYou need more medicine?â He asks as you lay your head on his shoulder.Â
âI donât want to go back to sleep right now. Iâve been out for long enough,â you say. He laughs lightly and nods before dropping a kiss to the top of your head.Â
âItâs good to see you awake,â he says, his voice soft.Â
âCould say the same for you,â you tell him. He lets out a small laugh drawing you to look up at him now. âWhat was it?âÂ
âShe did pretty good. Had me think I woke up just before she finished you off. Guess she wanted to see if I actually could kill you,â he says, his eyes set on some far off point. Taking his face in your hands gently, you pull him back to look at you.Â
âHey. Whatever happened, whatever you did, it wasnât real, okay? Iâm fine,â you tell him, but he shakes his head quickly.Â
âI couldnât do it,â he confesses. âI thought if I knew it wasnât you, if I knew you were gone, Iâd be able to put my feelings aside butâŚâ He trails off and you bite at your lip. âWe need to have a talk about that will of yours too because that is too much pressure.âÂ
âWill?â You ask, eyes widening. Oh God. âYou meanâŚâÂ
âArnold showed up. Gave me your letter,â he tells you. Staring at him, your mind races. He read the letter. The letter youâd written at a very dark time, spilling your heart onto paper just for him.Â
âYou really werenât supposed to see that,â you mumble. Dean laughs lightly and presses his lips to your forehead.Â
âThen maybe you should be a little more careful about what spells you get put under,â he teases. You laugh at this and shake your head.Â
âSheâs dead, right?â You ask. He nods quickly.Â
âBurst into flames right in front of me,â he says. âThey burned the book out here, so sheâŚâ He makes an exploding motion with his hands, complete with sound effects. You nod your head slightly. âYou donât seem as excited about that as I thought you would?âÂ
âNothing feels different. I was hoping Iâd be able to feel that this was real, to know she was gone, butâŚâ Youâre cut off abruptly by Deanâs lips against yours. Itâs a gentle and chaste kiss only lasting long enough to shut you up.Â
âThat feel real?â He asks. You swallow thickly and nod, unable to speak. That kiss was different from the ones in your dreams. His lips were more chapped than they had been in your mind. There was whiskey on his breath.
âThat letterâŚâ You say, trying to refocus your mind from the kiss. âI was in a pretty dark place andâŚâ
âYouâre the best part of my life too,â he interjects. âYouâreâŚeverything to me.â Your heart swells at his words. It wasnât much but it was all you needed to hear. You immediately pull him back into another kiss.
This time, neither of you hold back, allowing every ounce of your repressed feelings to come to the surface. Your dreams couldnât even begin to compare to the way his touch set your skin on fire as his fingers grazed just below your shirt. He leans in closer, an attempt to lay you back on the bed. You let out a soft, pained gasp as you pull away from him.
âEasy,â you mutter, trying to catch your breath. His eyes widen immediately.
âIâm so sorry,â he says. You laugh lightly and shake your head.
âGive me a few weeks to heal up, then you can get carried away,â you tease. He smiles widely before resting his forehead against yours.Â
âIâll hold you to that,â he says. You press your lips to his once again, softly. Despite the pain emanating from various places on your body, youâd call this moment perfect. Youâd even go as far as to say it wasâŚa dream come true.
