as Grace ages, his eyesight naturally gets worse and his glasses no longer help. when he offhandedly mentions his more-blurry-than-usual vision to Rocky one day, Rocky first freaks out, and then, after Grace patiently explains why human eyesight gets worse the longer a person lives, Rocky immediately consults the laptop Grace gave him. he studies the shape of various lenses, he consults images of frames, and he shares the problem with Adrian. he becomes mildly obsessed with glasses and wonders again at the oddity of the human body and the need for eyesight at all.
but after a few days, Rocky knocks on Graceâs door and behind him is a container nearly overflowing with the hundreds of glasses heâs made. there is every style Grace could possibly think of, and a few of Rockyâs own designs, all with clear xenonite lenses. what follows is hours of trying on frames and finding the most accurate lenses and joyful shenanigans, and Grace fondly thinks of the day they were trying to find a good voice for Rocky.
in the end Grace chooses one of Rockyâs designs. what else was he going to pick?

Rather than a full-scale invasion of Cintra, the Nifflgaard decided to first start with a smaller assassination attempt against the ruling class.
Although the assassins are ultimately stopped, one manages to kill Calanthe before being subdued.
At the time of the attack, Geralt is in Cintra to check on Ciri. With Calanthe gone, Ciri is  the rightful queen, though she is still too young to rule.
So Geralt is asked to be King Regent, just until Ciri is of age.
Now, Geralt is a good kind, trying his best to make peace for when Ciri takes the throne.
Geralt is also trying to find a way to lure Jaskier to Cintra to get a court bard and, in hopes of apologizing for the mountain.

Having Eridian's "question" indicator be tapping the ground twice is very endearing, but also, it makes so much sense!!! It's a literal request for more information! They echolocate, of course when they're confused they'd want to create more sound to get a better look what they're trying to understand!!! You can totally see how this would translate from "questioning" physical things in their environment to intangible things, like statements made by other people. Maybe it's even something that starts with Eridian children â being less used to vocalisations and finding tapping to create noise easier â that just gets carried into adulthood, sort of like babies calling "mama" because that's the easiest sound for them to make. Just... what a good little detail to have. Chef's kiss.

i know like percy's canon flaw is loyalty and all that but isn't it just so interesting how he hates dionysus' guts and doesn't want to ask him for crap in ttc but then he looks at thalia and knows he can't bear to let her die for her friends again like she already did so he pushes down the resentment and begs dionysus for help. and how he refuses outright to kneel to mars at camp jupiter until frank pleads with him to and then he does. for frank. not for mars. and how he was fully and truly going to choke ahklys out and the only reason he didn't is because annabeth begged him to stop. and how he didn't want to fight in the colosseum but he did it anyway because what else was he going to do, let jason fight alone?
and you know all i'm getting at is i really think his fatal flaw is rage and the only reason he's not already gone completely insane is because he loves his friends so much and that is in fact the only thing holding him together and actually always has been!
