My version: Human with Pokemon looks and powers.
Species: Basically in the SW verse, is called Gijnka also. Though most call them āhybridsā. Also abilities in this AU are considered āgene boostsā, like their ancestors used āpoison pointā to defend oneself. No, abilities like Klutz arenāt in this. Youāre welcome Buneary fans.

Air continent: Famous for housing many bases of rescue teams. Some bases have a section/land plot that is apprentice dormitory that houses rescue teams apprentices.
Team A.C.T. (Known for only taking a small, selected few apprentices)
Grass continent: Famous for housing many of the top exploration team guilds and bases on the planet.
Famous Exploration Teams:
Team Skull (Disbanded and labeled as criminals. On the run currently. Unknown location.)
Team AWD (Former āThief Guildā now turned into the top exploration team for hunting criminals.)
Team Charm (Houses very few apprentices, very exclusive and selective.)
Team Pokepals (Takes many apprentices each year. Had to make another base near Beach Cave just to house them all.)
Mist Continent: Known for its large establishment and trade. Pokemon Paradise is the most famous of the establishments on the continent. It houses farms, dojos, and many types of shops. It also houses the famous exploration/adventure Team Paradise.
Sand Continent: Most famous for housing the most mystery dungeons on the planet. Also home to multiple shops and other types of establishments. Home of Team AWD.
Sea of Wonders / Mystery Continent: Not open to the public. Houses many legendary PokĆ©mon hybrids, many which used to be hunted down by criminals for their power and status. Therefore is used as a restricted preserve territory. Only place of access to the public is the Tree of Life (has high, top security and is one of the planetās landmarks).
Birthplace: Rough Tunnel (Air Continent)(Mystery dungeon)
Backstory: While growing up, she was constantly had to battle for much of her day throughout her life.
From those that enter and explore the dungeon, to the many other dragon hybrids (known for having a tendency to battle a lot/ be battle hungry) that live in the dungeon with her.
She didnāt really like to battle as a result. Itās part of the reason she became a rescuer.
She therefore, was an outcast in her home, and preferably tends to spend her days (if sheās lucky) in her cave or going to Baram Town for supplies and a break from battling.
She is apprenticed by Team A.C.T. to her surprise.
There, she meets Opal, becoming friends fast due to their shared past of being outcasts in their homes, alongside their similar love for flying.

Is insecure about her body sometimes
While not liking battling, she is an expert strategist and will fight if needed.
Always chose ārescue/deliver itemā missions over ābattle challenges/criminal chases.
Loves to fly; often goes for a daily flight before and after every mission
Antennas move with her emotions and senses. Her antennas become straight and still would mean she senses a change in wind pattern. While her antennas curling like a lollipop indicates sheās feeling tense, nervous, or worried.
Pilots the teamās ship when they go on off-planet missions (Rare occurrences).
Canāt stand big crowds; the loud noises reminding her of her home-life before becoming a rescuer. Uses protect on instinct when getting overwhelmed, or otherwise tries to fly away.

Outrage (used as a last resort)
Backstory: She was found abandoned as an egg. She was raised by Mr. Nate (Nuzleaf hybrid).
She felt trapped though, despite loving her home. So she would often sneak out at night to nearby mystery dungeons to explore and battle.
Years later, she gets a chance to be apprenticed by Team Go-Getters.
During the last part of her apprenticeship (she was a Charizard by then), she came back home one day to discover her father had adopted another kid.
At first she was resentful, fearing she would be casted aside and forgotten.
But eventually, she and Finn (Froakie hybrid) grew close and the three became an even happier family.
After graduating, she noticed a new rescue team looking for recruits, so she signed up.
She meet Link around the time Finn was adopted. He had come from far away, a whole other continent (he kept quiet on why), and with him a pair of shiny Riolu hybrids.
She and Link became quick friends, despite Linkās cold but cautious demeanor. Leaving her brother to befriend his little twin brothers, alongside the rest of the kids in the village.
When she meet Eli (Eevee hybrid), she was a little protective and skeptical. But eventually the two found a share love of exploring, making her withhold just how she explored when she was his age.
Often is the one that has to go after the kid after he goes on one of his many āadventuresā.
One day, Eli decides to go with Finn to the forbidden part of the village mines. Sheās furious when she finds out two villages kids dared her little brother of such a dangerous task.
She had to fight off not just a Garchomp hybrid, but his band of crooks, one being a water hybrid.
She eventually defeated them, calling the nearby sheriff to bring in officers to take the crooks away,
While part of her was upset of Eli for convincing Finn to go to said mines, she was mostly angry at herself.
She nearly went full feral on those crooks, especially when their dragon hybrid leader threatened her little brother.
So she just sat and watched while Mr. Copper (Carracosta hybrid) lectured all the kids (Clover made the two bullies stand and take it before handing them off to their parents) all night.
When her and Link joined different teams, the two kept in touch. They would often meet up back at the village, and with that came introducing each otherās team members.
She got many battle scars from not her apprenticeship, but from the missions she applied for. She would always go for the toughest ranked missions she could, often leading to near death experiences and battles.
She still keeps in touch with her old mentors, and are the second besides her father and brother to be introduced to Rex. Which she immediately regrets once the three begin to tell story after story of her time as their student.
Birthplace: Distress Mountain (Air Continent)(Mystery Dungeon)
Backstory: Growing up, she was outcasted by the rest of the hybrids that lived in the mountain.
She could battle and fly in the air as well as any hybrid with wings, if not better.
But she always lacked in intelligence.
Many would bully her, insulting her as she struggles to remember things, how not do math without counting her fingers like back in basic school.
And such bullying followed her in life afterwards.
The two bonded well, and for the first time in her life, she had a friend.
She had applied prior to meeting Diana to becoming a rescuer. She never thought of all the rescue teams to offer apprenticeship, that Team A.C.T. would be the one to accept her. Diana, she understood, but her?!
Loves to fly, to battle in the air, the only things she believes sheās good at.
Hates spicy and sour food.
Looks up to Alexander (Alakazam from ACT) and wishes to one day be as smart as him.
Loves listening to music when she flies. Her favorite genres are classics and hard rock.
Has a hard time remembering things, especially all the rescue and battle formations and strategies given out. Thankfully, Diana is patient, and Clover just tells her step by step through the teamās ear piece comm system.
Her favorite snack is popcorn. The best version she loves is popcorn with something sweet, often honey.
Birthplace: Little Canyon (Grass Continent)(Mystery Dungeon)
Backstory: Living in Little Canyon, Link was isolated and mostly left alone by other hybrids.
Then his brothers were born. He simply found a pair of eggs on a walk one day, and they hatched the moment he picked them up.
Due to being shiny hybrids, poachers and crooks would often come to said dungeon to capture the twins.
Fearing his brothers safety, fearing the other dungeon hybrids hurting his brothers thinking the two are a curse to everyone, Link takes his brothers and leave.
He managed to move to the Water Continent while traveling, and land up living in Serene Village.
Mr. Shane (Shiftry hybrid) found them, with Link thin as a stick due to using whatever money he could make to feed his brothers.
So he took them back to Serene Village, getting them not only a home of their own, but a introduction to the community, who helped a lot caring for him and his little brothers (village pot roast happened every Friday).
Feeling in debt, Link strives to become the strongest fighter he can become, wanting to protect everyone in of the place he calls home.
Befriended Clover, Finn (Froakie hybrid) and the other children of the village over time.
Eventually goes to train at the Expedition Society, but often goes back and forth between Lively Town and Serene Village every other day.
Has twin little brothers name Sora and Leo (both shiny Riolu but with different color eyes than the other).
Has a āsecretā soft spot for kids. Is a favorite in the village for being a good story teller.
His favorite food is vanilla ice cream.
Hates very sour and spicy food.
Is often asked to babysit Eli, which often brought Finn that the Eevee hybrid drags along everywhere he goes.
Gave the suggestion to make the team base in Serene Village. Said base was built around the āhauntedā tree in the middle of the village. Later, Clover and her team decide to make it their team base too, making it a rescue and exploration team base.
Birthplace: Capim Town (Grass Continent)
Backstory: Abby was considered the most social and wild of all the residents of town. She loved to go on many outings to mystery dungeons, and one day she happen to tell said stories to a Darkrai hybrid. Despite being the muscle of her team, she often makes some battle formation strategies for certain missions.
Was the first apprentice to ever protest against the guild rule of ātaking 90% of profits from every teamās missionsāā¦.and winning.
She managed to get the rate down to less than 10%. No one truly knows how. She just walked into the Guildmasterās room to speak with Charles (Chatot hybrid) and Wilma (Wigglytuff hybrid), and comes out with a new rule change and Charles announcing his retirement (Wilma follows later but not for the same reason Charles did).
She loves to battle. It gives her such a thrill and boost of energy. Which made her every criminalās worst nightmare, since that meant none would be able to escape from her wrath.
She loves to joke around with her team. She happens to be very in tune with every teammates ālove lifeā, and enjoys teasing them all to no end. Though she will be any of their āwing ladyā if she decides to āspeed things upā.
Will absolutely compete and strive to win every spicy food eating contest she can find. She loves spicy food.
Is the first of the team to get a date with oneās soulmate. Sheās confident and bold, and so it was easy in her opinion to have the courage to ask Wrecker out.
Love comedy shows and movies. She has a blast roasting and taking trash of any romance comedies.

Ability: Bad Dreams (tries her hardest to suppress it) (which in turn causes her to get sick more often than not)

Backstory: Her home only consisted of her and her older brothers. Due to all threeās legendary PokĆ©mon status, she didnāt have any neighbors. She went to school in Capim Town, where she became friends with Abby. Abby became a key part of her life, enough that she applied with Abby to join the Wigglytuff Guild after graduating basic school.
She and Abby applied to all of the guilds and exploration teams (apprentices to said team), but only the Wigglytuff Guild accepted them.
She loves sweet food, and is the only one who knows of Lilyās secret love for said foods too.
Uses the dark energy within her to create vine-like limbs of shadows (like a multi version of Shadow Sneak). It can be used to also heal alongside fighting, with said limbs simply touching the patientās wound (feels cold like ice to patients) and bring forth her energy and power to healing said patient.
Is different from other Darkrai hybrids, the main feature is having dragon-like hybrid features such as fangs, scales (like Nightfury scales), and wings (also black and looks almost like their made of dark ooze from afar).
While she is the healer of the team, she can very much fight if she is needed. She grew up with two dragon hybrids for brothers after all.
Usually wears dark clothing, her go to favorite being a dark black battle suit that turns into a cloak if she wants.
Her brothers are named Zane (Zekrom hybrid) and Robin (Reshiram hybrid). They are very protective of her. Robin works as a remote basic school teacher (he teaches history) and Zane is a popular author. She visits and calls often.
Birthplace: Clear Lake (Mist Continent)
Backstory: She was severely bullied for her ādullā looks, which to others seem to get worse when she evolved to a Milotic hybrid.
One day, she had enough, and decided to swim off and find her place in the world, no matter how she looks.
She ends up in the Sand Continent, and catches the eye of the leader of Team AWD after she takes down three hybrids who tried to mug her.
She ends up being apprenticed by the exploration team, and later adopted as family. She calls and visits often, to the joy of her uncles who adore her.
Is very skilled in singing, but is not confident in it.
Love sour food, especially sour candy.
Her healing abilities somehow help Echo regain much of his old body before the attack.
Despite seemingly calm under pressure, sheās actually one step away from a breakdown.
Is very sensitive to very warm temperatures, more likely to get dehydrated or get overheated.
Wears glasses when reading and writing reports.
Willow (Weavile hybrid) adopted her as her daughter after she completed her apprenticeship. Aaron (Arbok hybrid) and Dale (Drapion hybrid) are her very protective, honorary uncles.
Expert in stealth, healing, and long range attacks.
