"I'm here, Wade," Logan says, then kisses him until sunlight shines through his being in neon pinks and shock greens. Wade's eyes widen at first, but then finally, finally, he smiles against Logan's lips, and fuck it's all he wanted. He'll take a smile from Wade over anything else if given the choice.

A while later, the sun comes up fully and bathes their shitty motel room in light. Wade snores softly on his chest, closed eyes peeking out over the blanket that's drawn up to his nose. Logan finds that he's in no rush to leave. The small room still smells like strangers and filth and bleach, and it's still far from a comfortable stay. But now it also smells like Wade, and so it feels like home.

Logan bought a red rose for Wade, and Wade made chocolates for Logan.

quietly, privately, but world-ending levels of nnghh occur in their apartment when wade sashays into the room, in sky high neon pink monstrosities (he and ness had a Girl’s Day, and she took him to the place she used to buy all her gear from) that make his legs look even longer and more toned than they already are

logan, ever inarticulate, gapes, especially when wade starts gliding along the floor like a goddamned natural, all fluid movement and rolling muscle

and wade wilson is nothing if not a fucking brat, so he Notices, stops, puts his hands on his hips, and clacks the shoes together like he’s fucking dorothy trying to go back to kansas

“wolvie likes?”

Wade: "What is it with you bring your nose in my armpit constantly? Is it a kink thing or regular Wolverine behavior?"

Logan's head is spinning with the contradiction; Wade literally smells like both Life and Death. He's the embodiment of Decay and Creation, like some sort of ancient deity that existed long before humans or mutants did.

Logan: "Smells nice."
