Glass doors and pulls installed!

I found some red rugs that I was really digging, but this may seal the deal for orange. Getting the table on Friday.

It’s funny that this is just the beginning of the 2nd week in the (almost) completed space. DW is fixed! Glass doors are finished, when they will be installed I don’t know. Shade has been ordered. Dust is 95% gone. Cats are 75% acclimated. :)

Reorganizing everything has really taken time. I’ve done my storage unit, most of my closets (I’m blessed to have a few), figuring out where things go….damn. Not complaining it is really nice to take the time. I have to say getting older does take a toll (well that’s a complaint). I’ve done this before and been all set after a weekend. I just don’t bounce back like used to man {shakes fist at sky}

I found a shade for the kitchen window in the size I needed that was custom on sale for $60. Thanks JCP! It’s a brown wood (ish?) roman. All the red runners I liked were silly expensive. It’s a kitchen floor, so no. I think I’m going with orange. Down the road I may change the shade, but really who cares! :)

I guess this will become a decorating blog soon. Just need my dam glass doors, some hardware and some other minor things and I’m DONE! I’ve put off the painting for a few weeks. Because I’ve had enough for now. (aka I just can’t deal)

I’m unpacking there’s still some work to do on my new kitchen. Still need paint, glass cab doors installed, change an overhead bulb, window tlc etc. etc.

Need a runner and want a shade for my wide galley window. That’s all for now, maybe table suggestions. I’m looking at round tables.

The runner there is temp. Maybe the same but longer w/ a natural shade or with a blue and white roman? I really like red oriental styles for the runner but with what shade color? (Not red).

Not all unpacked or finished but it’s clean and I really wanted to cook.

Already have to switch around the contents of some cabinets and drawers. It’s a good “problem” to have.

Gimme some trim, some backsplash and some damn lights!

I am THIS close to using my Kitchen!  Which is good because this project is waaaay over budget and I will not be going anywhere for a while.

Countertop installed!  The other piece wouldn't fit in the elevator with the protection and they were afraid it was going to chip, so it is coming back tomorrow and being carried up 6 flights of stairs.  Yikes.

New radiator enclosure!  Ignore the baseboard molding around it.  It will be topped with a piece of stone from the counter top slab and new trim.  And will be where the smoking and drinking (of non red wine!) will happen.
