i don't like gif chats and that seems to be 90% of interactions in hollywood rps 😞i could be mistaken, but i only see paras between ships.

please write with me or i'm gonna have to start writing the most boring one shots to fill the void. i think i'm gonna have to remake my selena indie blog or remake this one and post random starters, even though i know no one's gonna reply to it. idc. let me use my big ass icons and write a paragraph about so and so going to the sugar factory or w/e. also, you can check nostalgia blog for inspo!

i really miss selena's instagram circa 2014 so i'd love to do sort of a mini band rp where we post in character if anyone's interested. i also wouldn't mind writing about demi circa unbroken era and demi era (2011-2014) and probably other people.

dating as an entertainer was difficult. regular people with office jobs rarely understood why their boyfriend was leaving the country for months at a time. suddenly appearing in articles like 'who is ross lynch dating?' with an analysis of every instagram post they've ever made scared off the people we were in it for the right reasons. in the long run, it was easier to date inside his own bubble. that came with its own challenges, however. people loved to pry. both parties having their own press conferences only made it easier. ross was lucky enough that he wasn't tabloid famous. paparazzi rarely cared to follow him down the street. that's if they even recognized him at all. that didn't stop fans from holding their phone up at an unnatural angle, trying to be discreet as they filmed him. he noticed. given the way it made him crawl out of his skin, he had developed a sixth sense for it. this time, the camera flashes on him were voluntary. a faint smile disappeared and reappeared every time he spotted one. ross would lay a hand on her back and pose. the light had yet to reach his eyes. he knew better than to make a scene in public, so he swallowed his feelings for the night, instead choosing to chase them away with a drink. "i'm good!" he reassured in his usual softspoken voice. underneath was a quiet rage. as supportive as he wanted to be, he was a d-lister; a disney has-been who never quite skyrocketed into the mainstream like his predecessors. anyone he was seen linking arms with was bound to be more successful than him, his date tonight included. he heard it in the way photogs screamed her name to get her to face them. that on its own wasn't so emasculating that he couldn't get over it. what he couldn't shake off were the rumors swirling around her and some other bigger star. the press was foaming at the mouth to write headlines about them being in the same building tonight. half of her tagged posts on instagram were fans making manips and edits of her and that guy. the son of a bitch had the nerve to come up to them and make small talk with her, knowing cameras were snapping every millisecond they made eye contact. ross mostly stood there, iced out, only being greeted by the guy on his way out. once he was out of earshot and the vultures had moved on, ross couldn't help the passive aggression oozing out of him. "he seemed nice. very friendly." his lips pulled into a tight smile while his brows spiked up, a pointed look. realistically, that guy probably wasn't flirting with her in front of her boyfriend. even if he had been, that wasn't her fault. still, someone had to answer for the shame of not being the elligible bachelor the world had hand selected for her. he wasn't outright accusing her, just... commentating.
