given sora’s lack of patience for antagonists who ramble on mysteriously about deep philosophical matters i truly think he’s gonna be less afraid of yx and more deeply annoyed at first. oh so i sacrificed myself and went to turbohell and i still have to listen to this anime dude talk about cryptic matters in That Voice

this being said i think it would be fantastic if this were the game in which he finally started taking these matters seriously. his situation is very different now and perhaps it’s worth giving xehanort’s words a chance. ‘the heart is light’ and ‘my friends are my power’ aren’t wrong assertions but he does tend to shut down in the face of serious questions and just shout something like that in self defense. but it would be beautiful if sora started to like really try to understand what xehanort has always understood. but like. come to better conclusions about it all

He brought his earth roommate to eternia to prove he wasn’t crazy. He even killed Jared Leto. What a guy.
