Its also almost like the funniest ever rage bait because what do you mean the guy with the bright pink hair and heels is going to decimate us in battle. Are you kidding me. Thats his battle armor. Is he gods favorite little guy or something this should not be allowed. He can be seen from a mile away and he’s wearing literal heels on the battlefield yet he’s still sneaking up on the enemy with more balance and speed than all of them combined. There is nothing efficient about this but he’s making it work i guess

the often touted line of “we are all adults and can discuss issues between ourselves” obviously isn’t reflecting the reality of how mcyt smps work, as many of these people are mid twenties, never held a full-time job, and are constantly straddling a tenuous line of co-worker, boss and friend in an environment where income is directly dependent on how likeable and entertaining you are to an audience that is mostly minors, who tend to not have the life experience and emotional maturity to clock when subtle power plays are happening behind the scenes. Or just like blatantly on the screen. it’s an absurd career with no safeguarding. unlike a normal workplace, there are no background checks, no references, no provided ways of hashing out conflict resolution with a neutral third party, no guidelines on maintaining public perceptions. Yes, we are often told that “everyone agreed” to particular content in videos, but given the frankly absurd differentials in clout between some creators, and the fact that smaller creators often allude to struggling for funds, there is an inherent incentive imbalance to avoiding friction.

was explaining this shit to a family member who then revealed that our city literally has a LARPer’s grievances council whose sole purpose is hash out interpersonal complaints. Probably a model that would be beneficial!
