Desperately need a giant house and a giant library and a lot of money

I’ve never really considered myself a collector of anything in particular but a little while ago I decided I love Harry Crews and I will make it a life goal to collect every one of his books, which are mostly out of print and very expensive. The problem is I become so obsessive, once I start looking I tell myself I have to buy everything right now! Before it gets even more expensive!! Ugh I have my whole life though. It’s so hard to hold back and not spend hundreds of dollars….

1 year without my dad today. I count down the minutes thinking of the moment he died. I hope his last moments were peaceful and I hope he felt all the love everyone had for him. So much of me just still can’t accept it as a truth, even knowing it’s a fact. I know I miss him though.

Just lucky to be experiencing this hellish nightmare w the best most loving person, I think I’d actually lose my mind rn otherwise

Flying back to ny from Georgia and the weather sucks so we had to stop in Richmond VA (very funny since we stayed there on our road trip down to ga). Flight was only supposed to be like 1.5-2 hours but we ended up sitting in Richmond for like 4 hours on the plane until they finally told us at 2am that our flight was delayed until 10am….. kicked us off the plane didn’t offer us a hotel or blankets or anything. All the stores are closed, our bags are stuck on the plane, the lights are so bright and flickering, 80s pop music playing so loudly, it’s somehow cold in here and we’re starving. I don’t even think we could check into a hotel rn if we wanted to 😭 anyway rant over wish us luck ❤️

Bought maybe 40 books on this road trip, sooo excited

K and I are on my bday road trip rn and we just got to Roanoke VA, it’s so weird here…..

I have just about a thousand books at home right now, I wish I could have fifty thousand. I wish we could have a giant library and we didn’t have to worry about space for books. Someday ❤️
