HCs I would love to see in a 'Potions Professor Regulus black' fic:
Note: I read regulus was great at DADA but I HC potions was a close-second & his favorite subject
-Regulus survives the inferi and goes into hiding. He sends an anonymous tip to the order about the horcruxes and peter being the mole.
-he continues to exchange anonymous info with dumbledore through kreacher. Eventually dumbledore is the first to figure out he's alive.
- The first order is able to defeat Voldemort in 1981
-Dumbledore vouches for regulus when he comes out of hiding. He continuosly offers him a position at hogwarts which he declines.
-Regulus had moved in with andromeda and ted after faking his death.
-after the war, Sirius and remus renovated and live at grimmauld place.
-Sirius often reaches out to regulus but always gets rejected, with his letters returned.
-Regulus never fully healed from his experience in the cave and suffers from ptsd/depression.
-after some convincing, Regulus takes the position as potions master in 1991. (Takes snape's place).
-alot of upper classmen vouch that he's a much better professor than Snape.
-Regulus is a black cat animagus
-Harry is sorted into slytherin and always writes home of how Professor black is one of his favorite professors.
-implied Drarry, with draco being close with his aunt andromeda too. Lucius serves time in azkaban and isnt able to set a bad influence.
-Regulus and Harry bond over quidditch and Reg gives him seeker tips.
-Draco is slytherin chaser and has a similar bond with James.
-lily and james divorce after the war but still remain friends.
-James and sirius become aurors, James being head auror.
-Remus still becomes DADA professor in 1993.
-Regulus is the one to help him with the Wolfsbane potion. They end of up bonding and becoming close friends.
-that same year, peter escapes from azkaban and the ministry still sends dementors to hogwarts.
-Sirius is assigned the auror to lead the mission of capturing peter.
-Sirius is able to reconnect with Regulus during his stay at hogwarts.
-it started out with them bonding (i.e, sirius annoying Regulus) through their animagus forms.
-Remus got tired of hearing rumors of a black dog and cat chasing each other around school grounds and forced them to start interacting normally.
-After being invited (Regulus prefers "harrassed") by sirius and harry about spending the holidays with them. Regulus finds himself falling in love with james and they start a relationship.
This honestly came out more like a whole story outline.
