i’m not her, clarke…

idk something about these two moments juxtaposed together makes me wanna scream… lexa’s iconic “not everyone, not you” line to me was saying, in just four words, “i sacrificed all those people except you, clarke, because i care about you too much to lose you, someone who i’ve only just met but has already broke down my walls. you made me care when i thought i couldn’t anymore. you’re not just anyone, you’re different, you’re special” // and now we go to clarke’s line, it cuts so deep because she’s like, “i know you’re not my lexa but i don’t care, i’ve wanted to you see again for so long and now i am, even if its just some image of you so let me just hold you in my arms one last time, even if i know you’re not really her. you’re the closest i can get so just give me this” and like these two have affected each other so deeply, literally living in each other’s head rent free, when they’re with each other, other things just seem to fall away. they’re each other’s greatest love and god idk it just make me so feral thinking about it
