Nanbaka highlight: Enki’s true motives
According to Liang and Upa at the Chinese prison, Enki beat up inmates he used as training dummies to become stronger.
However it was later revealed in the chapters. That Enki arrested the chief of Chinese prison for conducting illegal organ trafficking on inmates. The prison chief had the organs of the inmates sold to the black market. The chief connected the other prisons of the underworld. the prison chief was charged by his own subordinate along with his broker. which was revealed to be Enki who made the indictment against the prison chief.
the main reason he beat up Liang and Upa was because the people conducting the illegal organ deals needed “healthy people” they didn’t target injured and the sick and people with damaged organs or organ abnormalities Hachiman the boss of the organization included them for the organ trade deal after they were taken into custody.
For Enki the only way to monitor the inmates was for him to injure them send them to the medical building monitored them for examination fixed intervals.
So to make a long story short, Enki beat up inmates in order to protect them from having their organs sold at the black market.
