By some string of events the Soul jams have removed the beasts completely of their virtues as punishment.

Shadow milk loses his knowledge becoming a "Being of pure ignorance"

Mystic flour is a "Doll with no will"

Eternal sugar became "Angel of despair"

And Burning spice having the worst is turned into the "Stone of everlasting"

The former beasts can regain their own virtues again but it would have to be by learning from scratch.

And each of the ancients have to deal with their respective other halves.

This AU is mostly Shadow milk focused so Pure Vanilla and his kingdom will have more trial and error on what to expect with a former beast.

The clown's one track mind with his spontaneousness really makes his lack of knowing better a dangerous hassle. Having no knowledge or soul jam didn't erase his own power in his cookie form.

Which means trying to get Shadow milk off the chandelier because he has unconsciously levitated due to muscle memory or or save him due to getting stuck in a mirror because it was "a new part of the castle".

He can indeed harm someone or himself if left unchecked.

Believes that the dolls he's collecting are actual cookies, which is why he holds on to the Silent salt plush so dearly. With limited speech he talks to it.
