I prefer plural as a term over the others. So I use pluralpunk as a tag, sue me. Anyone who claims to be "non traumagenic" is ableist, and punks are directly against ableism, making any uses of the tag by anyone who is or support "ntgs" void. They are not punk, you are not punk, you will never be. A poser, sure. Punk? No.
You are a "willogenic" yea? Unless you have the disorder we do, you will never understand the true hardships of what it is to be a system. Putting italics around the word disorders implies to me you think that PARTS of our disorder is fun(assuming only the having "friends!" in your head?) while the actual reasons we have it and actual symptoms that present themselves with our disorder are not.
Do you know what it feels like to merge with a headmate when they're fronting with an intense emotion? To feel that emotion as your own, but know it is not. Do you know what it feels like to be constantly dissociated? Floating through life and living it but barely remembering anything that happened more than a day ago. Do you know what the tight, aching feeling in your head feels like when you split? The way it makes your head feel like it just might crack under the pressure and knowing you're in for confusion and disorientation for a WHILE before your new split may take form or let you know who they are.
No, you most likely do not. You're not a system. You don't have alters. Why is it such a task to just roleplay like a normal individual? You don't have to claim to have split egostates and be able to willingly split more just to act like and call yourself a character or an OC.
You're right on something, good job. Gender is very muchso a societal concept; but the thing is that it still exists and it still has meaning to MANY people. If you're perisex and identify as a binary man, you shouldn't be using a label that is exclusively for women. Lesbians are not attracted to men, and it's not hard to find a different label or coin yourself a new one. It's not scary to do so, and it's not scary to say you're straight.
If you still have a queer love for women? Awesome! That's really cool, but lesbian is not the label for you. I'm sure there are DOZENS of labels that describe a trans man with a queer love for women. I am a butch lesbian. I am transmasculine, but I am still a woman. Therefore I can use the lesbian label without directly going against its meaning. Labels have meaning for a reason, and to undermine them is harmful. It invalidates not only the lesbian community, but the trans community as well. All in the same swoop.
I know many people like me who feel invalidated by people who identify this way. I do not have a problem with many contradictory labels, which is why I specify PERISEX and BINARY. As I know many individuals may be multigender or similar, and them being lesbian doesn't really bug us. Neither do intersex trans individuals being lesbian. Please educate yourself.
Where is the source that claims endos ARE plural? Don't come to me with 4chan, Reddit, Tumblr, Carrd, or any other sites that are not scientifically proven. As my girlfriend put it, those are all societal research, and are invalid in conversations like this.
My source is quite literally the DSM-5. You need TRAUMA to be plural. You need childhood trauma bad enough for your brain to not fuse your ego states, thus creating "alters." It is the brain's way of COPING and to claim to have "alters" without trauma is insanely disrespectful and ableist. I do recommend you do research.
