🍁Remember how she died too, The Man in the Moon thought it was better that way even if it wasn't very good to find out so suddenly that she is no longer living in a conventional way
🍁While Veronica (the spirit of spring, another oc of mine) was her only friend, she was also in touch with Mother Nature given the circumstances. She was the one who taught her the basics of her season and Ace took it upon herself to learn and create the rest in her own way.
🍁From the beginning she had a certain support network along with the leaves. It wasn't the same with the other beings in the forest, who she had to earn their trust and that lasted for decades.
🍁At this point, her bones being seen is already just a nuisance, she gave up with trying to look for her family. Occasionally she goes to places on the Day of the Dead to familiarize herself with it all again, but she always ends up kind of sad so it takes her a long time to try again.
🍁Only she and The Man in the Moon know her human name, and she doesn't like the name Acedrus a lot either, but she has no choice AHSAHSHA she's fond of it anyway. She prefers to be called “Ace”
🍁The story takes place a little more than two centuries after the events of the movie, so in theory Ace is gen z
