The figure kept staring. Confused, he took in the scene again: wind rustling, waves crashing, some sheep were silently grazing while others bleated and grunted. He could hear some seagulls calling out above them, and felt the grass gently lapping around his legs. The sun was dulled by the grey clouds overhead, but the greens made themselves known because of it. If he could, Hiccup would love to capture the scene with some charcoal.

And finally, as Hiccup perfected his mantra of left, right, in, out, the face morphed onto the figure. Tuffnut, still staring ahead, finally replies.

“One of them’s not a sheep.”

I got converted so hard it's embarrassing

I wasn't really in the fandom, but was familiar with it, saw an amazing animation by meltsmelt for the Of The Northmost Winds and Skies fanfic, got very intrigued, saw on tumblt that that this story is extremely loved. I read it. I literally can't start thinking about it without crying. I can't explain my feelings fully, but to say that I love it would be an understatement.
