What we don’t need is temporary solutions like greasyman and arturo vidal, yes we all know they are good players (vidal helped a lot last season), but how long will they be useful to the team and the club? Our biggest example is luis suarez, who in the past two years played well in one or two games and had a terrible run at not scoring goals or playing well. What this club needed, and will continue to need, are young players who would adapt to barça’s playing style or have grown in it (la masia players). Look at ousmane dembele who’s first season wasn’t the best but has improved immensely to the point where he is vital to our team. Look at carles aleña who was in la masia and plays so well in the first team. So congrats to Griezmann for signing at FC Barcelona, but he is not the player we needed.
