Amy Cooper calls the cops on a black man in Central Park, addressed as Mr. Cooper, and falsely claims he is threatening her life after requesting her dog be leashed in a leashed dog area.

She is the head of insurance investment of Franklin Templeton, who merely put her on administrative leave.

The video also shows Amy Cooper abusing and choking her dog, and has since surrendered it to the shelter it was adopted from.

It also appears, through posts to her dogs Instagram account, that she is a frequent animal abuser / neglectful.

Her racism could have gotten this man killed and she knew it. She tried to sic the NYPD on an innocent black man and she knew the possible outcome of her actions.

But she's of course playing the victim, she says she was "scared" even though she repeatedly approached him. Why would she do that if she was scared and threatened? She wouldn't.

Several points:

Astrology IS divination.

It's also not something you "believe in", like Santa Claus. It's concrete information from a very old, tried and true system. You can choose to disregard the information, or parts of it, but belief doesn't really enter the equation when the intention behind the system is to be used as a tool for self-help and actualization.

I would argue that all divination is like this. Tarot cards are pieces of paper. They are not magical. Paper is a physical item. We choose how to interpret the images we see, just as we choose how to interpret any other form of art.

Pendulum reading is a form of divination, yet it is just a piece of jewelry at the end of the day. We provide it with energy. We provide it with meaning. If you don't "believe in" that, I would argue that ultimately, what you don't believe in is yourself.

All forms of divination are much less about belief, than they are about allowing a physical object to act as a manifestation of things we already know, but are not comfortable with, or are afraid to accept. Astrology is based on stars and planets, which are unequivocally real.

Divination is real, and we control it. We get what we want out of it, even if it may not seem like that in the moment. It does not conflict with science, because it's not trying to be science. It does not conflict with religion, because it's not trying to be religion. Divination, in its many forms, is simply putting a tangible object between ourselves and the truths we already know. At it's core, I would attest that divination is more like psychology than anything else.
