Faith Based Beauty

I think every woman and person for that matter should feel confident and love themselves for who they are! God made us in His image and doesn’t make any mistakes!! You are BEAUTIFUL!

The sun is shining, breeze in the air, your days have been near perfect and it has been easy to praise God; thanking Him for the blessings you can see in the natural (maybe a new car, home, job, finances etc) and it has been easy to be the light He has called you to be...then BAM you total your brand new car in an accident, and find your finances shorter than what you would like them to be. You begin thinking about renting a car, car insurance premiums and heck! --dealing with car insurance providers as a whole. Not to mention your moving next week which is an additional expense that comes with even more expenses! You slowly are moving away from thanking God for everything and in turn begin to question Him --Why God? Why now? What did I do? These questions almost come simultaneously, invading your positive, faith filled space in your mind bringing in overwhelming feelings, frustration and even anger..but Glory to God you haven’t lost it all!! Faith is so grounding that when it all hits the fan you land on it, remembering the fact that all though your car is gone you aren’t, and the fact that -okay Lord thank You for giving little ol’ me the resources to pay my bills last month --including my car insurance and better yet, thank You for me not personally causing the accident so my premium doesn’t go up...as you can see I just begin to think of how much worse it could be, and that if God allowed this then He will get me through this --after all if He did it before He can do it again! Here are some easy steps to Give God the Glory in the midst of tribulation and even more so resist the enemy casting down those negative thoughts and replacing them with God’s everlasting word... 1) Cast your cares unto the Lord! (1 Peter 5:7) He cares for you and He is the greatest comforter I know, open up your heart to Him in prayer, telling Him every worry you may have every thought and most of all how you need His help every step of the way.

2) Remove negativity from your circle: i.e. you may have nay sayers saying “How good can your God be if He did this to you” amongst many other things, remove them and love them from afar in prayer, you don’t need any additional negativity, after all you’re working on your own as we speak. (Titus 3:10) 3) Instead bump up the positivity and God’s light in your life with praise and worship there is nothing better than this; praise Him for what He has already brought you through and praise Him for the fact that its not as bad as it could be, you’re alive and well and you know there are more blessings to come so lift His name on high and thank Him in advance! (Philippians 4:8, Psalm 150:6, 2 Corinthians 1:3-4) 4) Cast down negative thoughts and let the enemy know who Boss is, our God!, and He has already won the victory for us and we can stand on His promises every step of the way, for He never leaves us or forsakes us (Deuteronomy 31:6)   and no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Last but not least give continuous thanks, and find peace in the Victory we have through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57)
