Fight as I might, this is just a display

I still think the hardest part about moving to Arizona is how much I tend to miss my family. It's never been easy. But especially around holidays it gets rough. For instance, I had to spend Christmas alone. Well I spent it with my boss and her boyfriend but it wasn't the same and felt all wrong. Then yesterday I had to work instead of doing fireworks with my little sister like I always had done before. Although yesterday I did have a girl I work with bring me a plate of food which made my night since I had to work so late. Funny how little things can affect our day and overall mood.

Every time I walk up the stairs to my apartment there's this cat that plays with the blinds and will poke his or her head out and just stare at me, it's pretty adorable. But for the longest time I thought it was someone staring at me because the blinds would always move but I would never see anything.

On another note, Arizona is pretty nice.

Growing up sucks. Or should I say living on your own and doing everything yourself sucks. But luckily enough I pretty much already did everything on my own before moving, except my mom usually made dinner.

My sleeping schedule has been so messed up lately. I've been going to bed around 3-4 and waking up at 8-9. And while it sucks, I'm getting used to no sleep.

And while it may not seem like a big deal, I've met 10 people I've known and had a chance to get to know on tumblr.

Only 3 months left here and then I'm off to Arizona, it's still so unbelievable to me.
