JUST SMILE

I am a sore loser

But that’s okay.

Kept rejected by the one I love

Put down by the ones I admired

Kept from the light of day.

I am a sore loser

It’s alright.

Shun down by my dreams

Left or right, friends I cannot see

Hands always trembling to write.

I am a sore loser

Yes, I’m stupid.

Living a life in the loop

In a circle, I kept running round and round

Once confident, now timid.

I am a sore loser

Yes, I know.

Lost my way

Always running fast

But nowhere to go

I am a sore loser

Yet, still clinging to hope

One finger remains on the edge

One more step, surely I break

Anna: I don't think I'll ever find another man like him, in my entire life. He means the world to me. (starts to sob)

Jane: So why then did you let him go?

I felt success today because my prayers were answered. I made really low grades on my first exam in my Marketing and Business Statistics classes. Then, I decided to put Him first place in my life. Then, I took the second exam for the two classes and bore high A grades. I saw the miracle in the little things.

Some people long for success. Some thirsts for victory. Some can’t find theirs their whole life... They’ve been looking at the wrong place.

I know love is such a big word for an idiot like me... but I’d like to know what feeling this is and take it away from me because it hurts deep down every time she says, “Your my dream guy, but we can never be,”

Three words for a short question

Yet leaves a stain on a bleeding heart

Three words to shape someone 

Or rather the man behind this sloppy poem

Confuse, Confound to know who I am really deep inside

Maybe, afraid. That is.

To know the truth, the reality

Am I the person yesterday?

Or the man who wants to become?

Does time, itself, exist?

Or is it just a black mask to shadow what’s real

People whines over the past

People longs for the future

Longing for what’s already done

And a growling wolf to know what’s on the other side

To see ourselves in the eyes of what was before

And to portray ourselves to what we can be

Hoping that we can be better than today

When in reality, all we ever have is this moment

To watch ourselves the way we breathe

To feel every word as you read this.

Truth: I am NOW

Not a whining teen who longs to see his friends 

For it was already over

Nor a hoping man to see me beyond today

For who am I and all that I have is this MOMENT

As I type this, THIS IS ME.
