resumery: reader get fed up of harry never being here and even spend more time with his crew member Ava
a/n: i had an idea this morning while listening "Helsinki" by Dinos
The apartment had never felt so quiet.
You stood in the middle of the living room with a suitcase beside you.
A suitcase you never thought you would pack.
For years, you had been the person waiting at home.
Waiting after rehearsals.
Waiting after interviews.
Waiting after late nights in the studio.
At first, you understood.
You loved the way his eyes lit up when he talked about music.
You loved watching him chase his dreams.
But somewhere along the way...
You stopped feeling like you were part of his life.
You started feeling like you were watching it from the outside.
Those sentences became normal.
At first, you didn't think anything of it.
She was part of his team.
The way he smiled at his phone.
The way he always had time to answer her messages.
The way he remembered tiny details about her day...
But forgot things about yours.
You didn't leave because of Ava.
You left because you felt like you had already been alone for months.
His voice filled the apartment.
He immediately noticed the suitcase.
You finally looked at him.
But there was no happiness in it.
The silence that followed was unbearable.
The man who used to call you just because he missed hearing your voice.
Like he genuinely didn't understand.
Your eyes filled with tears.
"Of being alone while being in a relationship."
"I have spent months telling myself that this is temporary."
"I made excuses for you because I loved you."
That hurt him more than if you had said you didn't.
"Then why are you leaving?"
You looked toward the suitcase.
"Because loving someone isn't always enough."
His expression changed immediately.
"I didn't say something was."
"I don't think you cheated."
"I think you forgot about me."
"You were always somewhere else."
You picked up your suitcase.
"Tomorrow is your first show."
His voice was quieter now.
"You know how much tomorrow means."
And that was the worst part.
Every reason this mattered.
You had supported him through every dream.
But you couldn't keep disappearing so his dream could get bigger.
"I hope you have an amazing show."
"I don't think I can keep standing backstage pretending I'm okay."
"I never wanted you to feel that way."
"But I know I need to choose myself tonight."
Thousands of people screaming his name.
Everyone told him he looked nervous.
They didn't know he kept looking toward the side of the stage.
Toward the place where you always stood.
No picture of your coffee.
No "go make everyone proud."
And for the first time...
He had spent so much time chasing the biggest moments of his life...
That he had missed the small ones.
The person who celebrated every little victory.
The person who stayed when nobody else saw the hard days.
The person who loved him before the crowds did.
When he walked onto the stage...
But all he could think was:
And somewhere far away...
You watched the opening performance on your phone.
Because despite everything...
You weren't waiting behind the curtain.
You were finally standing in your own life.
